User :   could that have been breakthrough bleeding
User :   and could i be farther alnog
User :   along
Doctor :   no
Doctor :   that would be a regular period
User :   well why the difference then? and why am i already gaining weight if im only 5 weeks
Doctor :   if your last period was jan 11th, then your period must have been due on feb 8th
Doctor :   and you must be around 4-5 weeks pregnant
User :   should i be gaining weight already i mean all my pants are really tight now and ive never had that problem and my breasts are very sore
Doctor :   all your symptoms are due to water retention
Doctor :   and not due to increase in size of uterus
Doctor :   and these are very common within the first few weeks of pregnancy
User :   what is water retention
Doctor :   increased hormones are the cause of water retention,
Doctor :   high estrogen and progesterone levels, cause increased fluid within the body tissues
Doctor :   this increases the body weight to some extent
Doctor :   and cause tightening of your clothes etc
User :   oh ok good. now do you have any suggestions on specific foods or fruit i should eat that will really help with fatigue on me and the growth of the baby
Doctor :   yes sure
User :   well what should i have then?
Doctor :   first you need to get immunised by your doctor
Doctor :   and you need to have high calories diet, comprised of whole foods
User :   how far along do i have to be to see the baby on a ultrasound
Doctor :   you can see a embryo within 3-4 weeks , where you can see a gestational sac
