Doctor :   The medications for abortion are usually given on the first day orally and can be taken in home but after 48 hrs the next set of tablets are given undersupervision as this leads to bleeding
User :   she had not advised admission.
Doctor :   that is why hospital admission is advised.
User :   ok
Doctor :   Right now your wife is having abdominal cramps due to medication which would push out the fetus and producing abortion
User :   morning she passed a rather largish clot
User :   not sure if it was the foetus
User :   the clot was around 2 inches

Doctor :   Ok
User :   ok
Doctor :   It might be a fetus.
User :   ok
User :   ok
Doctor :   At present your wife is having giddiness this could be due to loss of blood and as you have mentioned that already 3 pads are changed, I would suggest you to see your doctor or give a call regarding this.
User :   is giddiness not a normal syndrome
User :   ok
Doctor :   Get her BP checked now to confirm she is not going into hypotension.
User :   ok we will try to reach our gynaec
Doctor :   No, in your wife's case I don't feel is a normal syndrome but needs to confirm that nothing is left behind in the uterus producing excessive bleeding.
User :   ok.. Fluids
User :   water ? juices?
Doctor :   At present you can give her lots of fluids.
Doctor :   Get her BP checked and meet your gynec.
User :   ok
Doctor :   at the earliest.
User :   yes.
User :   You are suggesting that giddiness is unusual
Doctor :   Yes, anything like water and fruit juices, this will help in maintaining her BP.

Doctor :   Did you follow my suggestions?
User :   ok
Doctor :   Are there any more queries for me to help you with?
User :   Do you think she might need admission to hospital?
Doctor :   Yes depending on the loss of blood.
User :   we were prescribed an ultrasound after 2 weeks
Doctor :   Yes that would be ideal.
Doctor :   You may be asked to get a ultrasound done.
Doctor :   Dependinly if no tissue is left then there is no need.
