User :   I am 32 weeks pregnant and Having pain in the lower abdomen and Pelvic area from 12 hours. sometimes it's constant and giving relief for just very few mins and coming again and not giving relief what ever I, sit, stand, lay on the bed....and taking fluids..but not reducing, what to do?
Doctor :   hi
User :   Hi Doctor
Doctor :   HI
Doctor :   Dr. XXXXXXXX here.
Doctor :   is there any leak from vagina?
User :   I am and 32 weeks pregnant
User :   i don't find anything
Doctor :   is there burning/discomfort while passing urine?
User :   no
Doctor :   do you feel your uterus getting tight when the pain is thee?
Doctor :   once the pain is there how long does it last?
User :   I am not very sure, but my upper abdomen is tight
Doctor :   ok
User :   for mins....
User :   and if it stop for sometime and coming imm again
Doctor :   i would suggest you to report to your treating doctor/emergency room at the earliest
User :   i can say more than 5-10 mins constant
Doctor :   the pains that you describe suggest possibility of early labor
User :   is this serious doctor?
User :   ok
Doctor :   get a check done and see if it can be prevented
User :   but I feel the baby movement sometime
Doctor :   if the cervix (mouth of uterus) is open, it cannot be prevented
Doctor :   but if not, then it can be prevented
User :   is there any other symtoms for early labor, doctor?
Doctor :   keep constant watch on the baby movement
User :   but baby is pressing hard and staying in the same place for sometime....
Doctor :   if it is going down, then do not delay rush to hospital
User :   problem is...i am not getting relief...what ever I do...i am little worried, now it is mid-night for us
Doctor :   if the pain is not geting relieved, it could signal a premature onset of labor
User :   one questions...Doctor...during labor time(if starts) will move or will be stable?
Doctor :   please report to your treating doctor/emergency room
Doctor :   it will move, but that freely
Doctor :   after sometime it will become stable
Doctor :   but heartrate has to be monitored
Doctor :   and it can be done only in hospital setup
User :   I do have Fetal heart rate monitor
User :   you want me to check?
Doctor :   ok. connect it to abdomen, and see for changes in heart rate when pain is there and not there.
User :   what should be rates..I should get..if it is normal
User :   what should be the rate...when pain is there?
User :   and what should be without pain?
Doctor :   it should not go down below 120 and above 150
User :   durin pain?
User :   during pain?
Doctor :   do not wait for long
Doctor :   yes
User :   but..there is no leaking vagina...still possible for labor sign?
User :   I just want to make sure
Doctor :   yes, it is possible
User :   oh ok
Doctor :   and if the distress becomes more for baby, it can lead to fetal loss
User :   another thing, i am feeling to go to toilet when pain is there...and more bowl movement
Doctor :   hence i suggest you to take professional help
User :   sure, I do
Doctor :   then it is a sign of baby's head entering pelvis and a sure sign of labor
User :   but..pain is bearable
User :   and now also..moved little and stable
Doctor :   and the feeling of bowel movement coming is due to babys head pressing againt rectum and bones
User :   sorry- Baby moved little and stable
Doctor :   pain might remain bearable until ligaments are stretched and you enter into "active labor".
User :   but sure is..when pain is there..I feel bowl movement
Doctor :   you have more than two signs that it is labor pains. i recommend you to go to ER at the earliest and report your symptoms to your treating doctor/gynecologist.
User :   oh ok Doctor
User :   Thank you very much
Doctor :   have you followed what I have said?
User :   yes
User :   I understand and helpful
Doctor :   thanks for consulting me. Bye for now. take care, and do not delay your further appraoch
User :   but..i don't have back pain,,is that possible
Doctor :   to the pain and symptoms
Doctor :   yes it is possible until the active labor starts
User :   oh ok
