User :   i have been diagnosed with h pylori
User :   can that cause your knee caps to turn red like there burning?
Doctor :   H pylori is a bacterial infection that commonly affects the gut.
Doctor :   It produces symptoms of gastritis predominantly.
Doctor :   There can be other minor symptoms of nausea, abdominal bloating, generalised body pain, headaces.
User :   i have been on prevpak for 5 days now
Doctor :   There are not associated with burning sensation however.
Doctor :   Nor does it cause the knee cap to turn red.

User :   i also had a diffucult time swallowing so now the GI doctor wants to do a endoscopy

User :   so i am kinda freaking out if its cancer or just the h pylori causing everything
Doctor :   Long standing H pylori infections are reported in some case to cause gastric cancers.
Doctor :   However, the symptoms of gastric cancers are more often pain abdomen, vomiting, absence of stools, abdominal distension, loss of weight and so on.
Doctor :   Difficulty in swallowing can be due to a oesophagal or the upper gi problems.
Doctor :   Unless the gastric cancers are in last stages, oesophagal obstructions may not be seen.
User :   yeah they think maybe i might have bad acid reflux and it irritated my esophagus thats why i had a hard time swallowing
Doctor :   Hence it is unlikely that your present problem may be related to any cancers.
Doctor :   Yes, probably it is the reflux.
