User :   good afternoon doctor. My wife i having bicorunate utres is that the reason for her not getting pregnant. we got married one year back

Doctor :   when was she diagnaosed as having bicornuate uterus
User :   one month back, and we did HSG also. there are no blocks

User :   after marriage reduced periods

Doctor :   did she have any abortion or were there no pregnancies at all
User :   only once the the period came after 37days. we planned to go for pregenancy test for after 40day.we dont know she got pregnant. she got a sever stomach pain on 40th day.

User :   After that stomach pain we went for trans vaginal scan the doctor said, i think it is aborted but now it was clear

Doctor :   there are two conditions called bicornuate uterus and biseptate uterus
Doctor :   both look similar but their treatments are different
Doctor :   i recommend you get a second opinion
Doctor :   and get the diagnosis confirmed
Doctor :   because in biseptate uterus there is a septum in the uterus which can be removed
User :   When we are seeing the HSG report. they told that it nicornuate utres only
Doctor :   where as in a bicornuate uterus, the uterus has two horns
Doctor :   ok
User :   I am sure there not septum in the utres
Doctor :   ok
Doctor :   then usually there are surgeries that can be performed
User :   it look like as heart shape but very less heart shape at the top
Doctor :   ok
Doctor :   but mostly it is treated in a conservative manner
User :   whether prgenancy is possible those who have bicornuate utres
Doctor :   you need to consult a gynaecologist
