User :   I have had irregular periods 3 months apart for the last 9 month. The last period was 2days of brown, 1 day of bleeding very light, 2 days of brown- finished or so I thought. 1 week later the blood flowed like nigara falls, heavy and clots. Dr ordered U/S and bloods and still awaiting bloods results but neg beta HCG. U/S showed "cystic stuctures in the uterus from cervix to mid body PRESUMABLY Nabothin cysts?? I am freaking out cancer. I am 34 who is a G9P3M6 and it has taken my 13 years for my 3 children. I dr says I have PCOS and1 says I dont because of being preg. 9 times. What is going on.

Doctor :   the bleeding has to be stoped by giving you a dose of progesterone
User :   o.k why?
Doctor :   progesterone will cause strengthening of the uterine mucosa and cause reduced bleeding
User :   What do you think of the cysts?
Doctor :   the cysts mentioned are variations of the anatomy
User :   be it is not very normal
Doctor :   and are not to be worried about , and they do not cause any form of cancer

Doctor :   Nabothian cysts are considered harmless and usually disappear on their own
