User :   Hi ,

I had a small red spot on my breast with a thick white pus that discharged from it. Next to it on the same breast was a brown spot that had a hard waxy discharge? They were not painful at all. They wre both small.
Doctor :   Hi

User :   Hi my name
Doctor :   May i know your age?
User :   I just turned 40
Doctor :   ok

Doctor :   Since how long are you having this?
Doctor :   Do you have any other problems associated?
User :   about 2 weeks ago I noticed the red spot . It was just a small lump i thought it was a pimple ,but the puss was so firm. I boticed the brown spot 3 days ago.
User :   No other problems
Doctor :   Is it painful also?

User :   No
Doctor :   Any foul smelling discharge?
User :   No
Doctor :   Any discharge from the breast can be due to any infection, allergy, inflammation, abscess etc
Doctor :   I will advice you to get a breast examination done and also you may require some investigations like study of breast discharge and mammogram

Doctor :   The proper examination at this stage will be better to rule out any complications?
User :   What could the discharge be. They were both different. One was firm and glue like and white. The other hard and waxy and kind of clear? Both were small
User :   Ok about seeing my doctor.
User :   Just wondering withe the two discharges.
Doctor :   The clear discharge could be the usual lactation

Doctor :   the glue like one could be old discharge
User :   They were not from my nipples they were spots small spots.
Doctor :   ok.
Doctor :   then i would still suggest you to go ahead with the mammogram
Doctor :   and also get the dischrage tested
Doctor :   by getting a swab taken from the discharge
Doctor :   to identify if there is any infection associated
User :   Both of them already have dispelled the discharge.
Doctor :   ok
Doctor :   if the spots have come back to teh skin level
Doctor :   and with no other symptoms
Doctor :   then you can leave them alone
