User :   I believe I may have sun poisoning. We spent the whole day at an air show recently and there was a breeze all day so it was cold in the morning and at night, but hot during the day. That night when I came home I had a headache and cold shivers that kept me awake which was strange because I usually only sleep with a sheet over me. The air show was this past saturday and on monday I got light headed and almost passed out in the shower, then I almost threw up and it seems like fluid is passing right through me. I only felt like I was going to pass out and throw up once though. My face got really red and I got a few small blisters. The cold shivers finally stopped last night and the only symptoms I seem to have left are a little achyness and a headache that seems to last all day and when I cough it feels like my head is going to explode. I have to put some pressure on my head when I feel a couch coming on to keep it from hurting and ibuprofen isn't helping. Should I be worried?
Doctor :   Hi
User :   hello
Doctor :   Let me read your query.
Doctor :   Do you have fever?
Doctor :   May I know your age and gender?
User :   no
User :   I'm a 27 year old male
Doctor :   Can you describe the headaches?
User :   It feels kind of like when i get a sinus cold my glands feel sore in the back of my neck and behind my ears and when I cough it feels like they are trying to pop out of my head
Doctor :   Do you have running nose, sore throat?
User :   no
Doctor :   Ok
Doctor :   Have the rashes disappeared?
Doctor :   Have you had such headaches in the past?
User :   my face is still pretty pink and there are a few spots that were blisters that are a little redder, but it is dissapearing a little more everyday
User :   no headaches like this in the past
Doctor :   Have you had similar skin lesions in the past while being exposed to the sun?
User :   not that I can recall
User :   I do have some pollen allergies if that would have anything to do with it
Doctor :   Ok.
Doctor :   Let me explain it to you.
Doctor :   Photodermatitis is usually a recurrent condition.
Doctor :   Since this is the first time that you have been experiencing these symptoms, your episodes may have been caused by alternative causes such as viral infections too.
Doctor :   Hence I would suggest you these few measures.
Doctor :   1. Tablet tylenol 1 or 2 tablets whenever there are headaches.
User :   so is the headache from over exposure to the sun?
User :   are you there?
Doctor :   As I had mentioned earlier, since this is your first symptoms following exposure to the sun,
Doctor :   Other possible causes such as stress related headache, infection are still a possibility.
