Doctor :   Hi
Doctor :
How can I help you?
User :   Hello Dr.
User :   I have a strange problem which I noticed recently. My foreskin does not come down (does not expose the head completely) . Also, the internal part (the tip which is covered by the foreskin) is extremely sensitive
User :   Does this indicate Phimosis?
Doctor :
Phimosis is not able to get the skin back on the glans
Doctor :
The internal part is highly sensitive for most men since the surface has extremely sensitive touch receptors
Doctor :
I think this is not a problem but I suggest you to get physical examination by a General Surgeon
Doctor :
The foreskin once able to retract back should come back to the normal position
User :   Could you please have a look at this URL? - WWW.WWWW.WW Doctor :
User :   When my penis is erected, then the foreskin comes down only till the point shown in the first pic
Doctor :
User :   I can say it slightly comes down more than that but its nowhere near to the normal penis which is shown in the second picture
Doctor :
Are you able to manually retract it further down to expose the red part ( bulb )
Doctor :
like in the third picture
User :   No, it comes only say 35-40 % of what is shown in the second pic
User :   this is when its erected
Doctor :
Can you pull it back more till what is shown in the second picture
User :   no
User :   when my penis is not erected then I can pull the foreskin more than when its erected
Doctor :   Ok do you have pain when erected

User :   No
Doctor :
I think you should not be worried about it
Doctor :
It goes back on its own or after couple of intercourses
Doctor :   You need not worry if there is no pain
User :   As depicted in the article, I feel that because of the frenulum I am unable to pull foreskin down to expose penis head
Doctor :   If so you have to check with the General Surgeon
User :   do you recommend any one in
Doctor :
let me check
Doctor :
You can go to Delhi
Doctor :

User :   I have one more query - If the foreskin does not retract down to expose the red part, then how is it going to affect a person's sexual life?
Doctor :
Nothing it will not affect sexual life
Doctor :
Few people will have pain during sexual intercours to start with
Doctor :
After few acts the skin goes back on itself
User :   Then why it is said the the foreskin should expose at least that much?
Doctor :
and if the pain is too severe for erectionor
Doctor :
Doctor :
then it needs a circumscison or frenuloplasty as examined by Doctor
User :   Is there any method that I can do on my own to confirm if I am suffering from any of this?
Doctor :
No you cannot play with it, it may bleed
Doctor :
and the part is highly vascular so hence blood control is too tough
User :   Do I need to see a Urologist for this?
Doctor :
You can see either a General Surgeon or Urologist
User :   ok. thank you doctor for your kind patience
Doctor :
Thanks for consulting us
Doctor :
Bye for now
User :   bye
