User :   on and off pain on right chest. like someone stabbing with a dull object. its not painful but annoying. i can take deep breath without pain. lift weights and run without feeling the pain. i have no cough fever or flu with this pain. its already been about a week. started with a stressful day at work. i dont have any other pain sensation in other parts of body

User :   a bit of medical history,i had hogskin lymphoma, completed chemo and radiotherphy 8 months ago, side effect?

User :   the pain is like using the back of a pen and pressing on to your upper right chest

User :   not sharp not really painful, just annoying, comes and goes,nopain during exercise

User :   the pain is not spreading to left side just the same spot when there is pain

Doctor :   However, you would need a physical examination and evaluation to specify the exact cause for the pain.
User :   i lift weights a lot and this doesnt feel like muscle pain, anyway if it is how long do you think it would last?
Doctor :   Hence, I would suggest you to consult your local doctor for examination.
Doctor :   A muscular pain can persists if there is persistence of strenous physical activity such as lifting heavy weights.
Doctor :   It can occasionally last for week or more.
Doctor :   adequate rest is recommended in such cases.
User :   ok i will see doctor if the pain doesnt go away in 2 weeks?
User :   any medication from pharmacy i should try?
Doctor :   You can try simple analgesics such as ibuprofen 400mg twice a day after food.
Doctor :   And ample rest.
User :   what other symptoms i should look out for and start seriously thinking of seeing doctor?
User :   noted on ibuprofen
