User:My wife use to have some headache sometimes at a particular place
User:it happens around once in every two weeks...
User:after 1 or 2 days, it automatically goes away without doing anything
User:just little bit worried... someone suggested that you should have CT scan of brain
User:just wanted to know your suggestions/advise

Doctor:Is it located on one side?
User:at both sides... near the ears... on the upper half of forhead
User:actually sometimes one side, and sometimes both the sides

Doctor:Do you have any associated symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, blurring vision or any other symptoms associated with headache?

User:she use to have for 2 to 3 days
User:during those 2 to 3 days, sometimes it is mild sometimes it is bad

Doctor:Headaches is caused by multiple factors.
User:there is no other problem other than headache
Doctor:Chronic regular headache is one of the cause.
Doctor:Such chronic headaches are known to occur with migraine or tension headache.
Doctor:Other causes are related to sinusitis and refractory error which perhaps is not her cause.
Doctor:Migraine and tension headaches can be controlled with proper medications (preventive medication).
User:I dont think she have any sort of tension
User:she looks 'Migraine' is the possibility?
Doctor:CT scan and radiological tests is only meant to exclude other rare causes.
Doctor:So do not be concerned with that.

Doctor:If the headaches are very frequent and very regular, she needs to be on preventive medications such as amitriptyline.
Doctor:These drugs can be prescribed to her by a physician or neurologist.
Doctor:I am sure she will be alright with the medications.

Doctor:Chronic headache can be kept under control; however it can persist for long time when proper lifestyle is not followed.
Doctor:Therefore even if she is on medications, she needs to follow a healthy life style.
