User :   Hi, may I answer your h
User :   hi
Doctor :   hello
User :   so im gonna tell you the background
User :   and then then explain my situation
Doctor :   hello
User :   ok good
Doctor :   sure please do go ahead
User :   so 12 days ago i had unprotected anal intercourse. This were going fine. I read up on some stuff online about how to increase the strength of my erection and I landed on kegel exercises. So i started do them. yesterday I felt a lump around my anus. It was itchy and slightly painful....nothing excruciating. I went to the doctor today....two of them told me it was a one gave me a local anesthetic and made an incision
User :   so i have this cream now i put on
User :   but i was scared it was an abscess
Doctor :   ok
User :   so my questions are: can hemmoroids be caused by an std? should I get tested immediately?
Doctor :   well hemorrhoids are not caused by an STD
User :   and the medication I got was betadine
User :   ok well thats just scared they mis diagnosed it
User :   but they seemed pretty sure
User :   im in a foreighn country
Doctor :   yes dont worry
User :   so they didnt speak much english
User :   im im pretty young
Doctor :   also you do have a history of anal intercourse and tht is the reason for it
User :   i dont know what could have caused it
Doctor :   i can understand your concern
User :   even if it was 12 days prior?
User :   it was my first time doing anal intercourse...dont think its for me...i mnew to this
User :   and i dont want a disease
Doctor :   anal intercourse can cause tears on the mucosa and a strain further can cause the hemorrhoids
User :   aids especially
Doctor :   AIDS will not show at this moment you would have to wait minimum 3 months if you want to take a AIDS test
User :   i mean it makes sense...i didnt have a fever or anything of that just started itching and was a little painful
User :   ok
Doctor :   i can assure you, you dont have to worry about it
User :   ok heres the other part...i got the medication you know how i use it exactly?
User :   cause they were unclear
Doctor :   is it is a tube ?
Doctor :   or a liquid ?
User :   they said 2 times a day which i understand...but what will i experience pain wise/what should i expect
User :   yea
User :   tube
Doctor :   ok now you need to put it on a sterile swab of cotton and apply on the area
User :   and is it common to make an incision to alleviate the hemmoroid
User :   ok
Doctor :   it wont cause much pain
User : just seemed to much of a coincidence that i just had anal intercourse and then i have a lump outside of my anus
Doctor :   hemorrhoids are caused by tears in the mucosa and anal intercourse does cause that . so its no coincidence
User :   even 12 days after?
Doctor :   like i have told you that once the mucosa becomes weak a sight pressure can cause it
User :   ok that makes sense. as long as its not an std or related to an std Im fine
Doctor :   dont worry
User :   just a little nervous
User :   thank you. I appreciate your time and knowledge
Doctor :   your most welcome
Doctor :   take care of your self
User :   i will. last thing. when should I get tested for STD's?
Doctor :   you should wait for minimum 4 weeks
Doctor :   and 3 months if you want to get tested for AIDS
User :   ok thank you again
Doctor :   no problem
Doctor :   have a good one
