User :   Hi, I have a painful lump on the inside of my elbow. It is hard and very tender to touch. It isn't in the crease, it is more to the side of the crease. I am a 21 year old female with SLE.

User :   I am on anti biotics as I had impetigo on my face last week.. and I now have a very odd rash on my buttocks

Doctor :   Then the most probable cause is Lipoma or Nodule
User :   what are they? are they dangerous / require any treatment
Doctor :   Because we cant associate with SLE as no fever is associated
Doctor :   And neither Fibrocysytic disease breast

Doctor :   The left out causes are lipoma and nodules
User :   okay. are they bad?
Doctor :   We generally treat them with hot fomentation and tight bandidng
Doctor :   No not at all
Doctor :   They are mosatly caused due to excessive depositon of fats

Doctor :   Very rarley lead to pain
User :   do i need to see my gp?
Doctor :   In that case we just have topical fomentation
User :   you see this is very painful
Doctor :   With some painkilleres
Doctor :   Ya i get you
Doctor :   In that case i would suggest you to start on BRUFEN twice daily
Doctor :   With hot fomentation and watch for a three days
Doctor :   Incase you hev the symptoms unreleived then
User :   ok - i already take brufen every day and paractamol and tramadol so hopefully this will help anyway

Doctor :   Is it moving along with the movement in elbow ( with muscle / joint/ bone
User :   no its just down from the crease and to the left of it. it doesnt move at all

Doctor :   And Try hot fomentation too
