User :   my husbands testicle hurts him badly and he says its deteriortating?
Doctor :   Hi,
User :   hello
Doctor :   Since when is the pain ?
User :   it has been going on longer than i was made aware
User :   at least a year
Doctor :   Is there any specific time when there is pain or the pain is more ?
User :   no
User :   it is at the point where it hurts all the time
Doctor :   is the pain dull aching type ?
User :   he did have surgery on a hernia years back
User :   yes
User :   i think it is more than a dull ache, he says it really hurts bad
Doctor :   ok, is the pain associated with gas in the abdomen or constipation ?
User :   no
User :   he says its deteriating
User :   and is fatigued
User :   there is not a lump or anything just deteriation and pain
User :   hello
Doctor :   Does he run high temperature anytime during pain ?
User :   not that i know of
User :   have never checked
Doctor :   Here with these symptoms which give me a clue of Torsion in the testis
Doctor :   It seems you have moved out of the chat window. Please log in back if you have medical queries

User :   thought u were gone
User :   very slow
Doctor :   no , i am with you
Doctor :   I think we are facing a technical problem,
User :   what can be done for it
Doctor :   i will try to solve your query in the time or i ill get you extra time from the CRM team
User :   okay
User :   i only have 15 minutes
Doctor :   i can ask for an extension
Doctor :   Are you able to read me ?
User :   yes
User :   i can read u just fine
Doctor :   ok,
Doctor :   he may need a Dopplar scan wich will tell about the vascularity of the testis
Doctor :   in torsion of the testis , there will be vascular compromise
User :   so they can remove it and fix it?
User :   is this caused from the hernia
Doctor :   yes, its a very common condition
Doctor :   and its very common in people with history of surgeries
User :   he has only had the hernia surgery
Doctor :   no a direct effect of the hernia but as a effect of distortion in the pelvic surgeries due to hernial repair
Doctor :   Are you with me ?
User :   yes
User :   so when I take him i should tell them to check for torsiion of the testis?
Doctor :   yes,
Doctor :   and also ask for a dopplar scan
User :   also, he said he had a little mole on his penis, and pulled it off, now it has grown, could that be a part of this too
Doctor :   and consult a urologist for the same
User :   he is embarrassed to go, but i am going to make him or call an ambulance on him
User :   is that torision testi thing cancer?
Doctor :   no , its not a cancer at all
User :   thats good to hear
Doctor :   but here you have to act soon , typically the illness runs for years
User :   will do!
Doctor :   and if untreated there are chances of the person becoming infertile
User :   okay
Doctor :   And also ask him not to wear loose underwear
User :   now about the other thing, the small mole that he thought was an ingrown hair, pulled it, and now has three big ones
User :   he wears boxers
Doctor :   let the testis be supported all the time
User :   okay
User :   so tighty whities?
User :   so to speak
Doctor :   Where are tly ?moles ex
User :   on his penis
Doctor :   Where are the moles exactly * ?
User :   on the shaft
Doctor :   How big are they ?
User :   about as big as a pea
Doctor :   ok, do they hurt ?
User :   was a small one, then three grew
User :   no
User :   he says they dont hurt
User :   just embarrass him
User :   they are like the moles that i have on my neck
Doctor :   is there any redness surrounding them ?
User :   no
User :   just dark brown
User :   ugly moles
Doctor :   ok, i would ask you to get a biopsy test on the lesions
Doctor :   its not good for a dark looking mole to grow
User :   what would cause moles to grow on a penis
Doctor :   How fast is the growth ?
User :   about a year
Doctor :   the skin is a hair bearing type and also with ample number of melanocytes
Doctor :   chances of melanoma are more
User :   is that cancer
Doctor :   since its for long time the chances of it being cancer are less but to be on safer side getting a biopsy is very good
User :   he says that he feels like he has cancer because of all this stuff, and is fatigued
Doctor :   no , both problems are no where related
User :   is this common for men to grow moles there?
Doctor :   get the two tests i advised and consult the urologist you will get a clear idea on both
Doctor :   yes, its a common site too
User :   why
Doctor :   only alarming thing should be its fast growth
User :   he is 47
Doctor :   the skin type is the reason
User :   well it may have taken longer, seems it has taken a long time to appear
Doctor :   also its a highly vascular organ and with high hormone influence
Doctor :   need not worry
User :   okay, thank u very much
Doctor :   you are welcome
Doctor :   And i am sorry for the delay in response in the begning
Doctor :   as we faced some technical error
User :   no problme
User :   problem
User :   I am going to drag him to the dr!!!
User :   =)
Doctor :   thanks for consulting me , kindly provide your feedback
User :   i will do so, and will use this site more often very very helpful and i feel a lot better
User :   knowing that its not cancer
Doctor :   Thanks
