User :   I have pain in both sides on the ribs below arm pit..

Doctor :   Can you elaborate on the symptoms, how did it start and the duration?
User :   The pain started a week back on left side first and then yesterday on the right side. I have a very hectic work schedule, desk job and tend to sit very late in office. I generally have 4-5 hours sleep.

Doctor :   Do you smoke or consume alcohol?
User :   Neither. Nor I have a history of BP or any other ailments
Doctor :   Did you suffer from any injury in the recent past?
User :   I had hurt myself in back in the middle about a month back while travelling.. There was pain then for a couple of days, then it subsided

Doctor :   After going through your details I feel it is most probably a muscular strain or pull.
User :   If i stretch a little bit, I feel the pain in the ribs

Doctor :   these following measures would help you: Doctor :   1. Cultivate a habit of following regular physical exercises.
Doctor :   2. Hot fomentation would help you in muscle relaxation.
Doctor :   3. Tab DOLO 500 mg, three times a day after food.
Doctor :   This is an analgesic which will reduce your pain.

User :   For how many days should i take the tablets..
Doctor :   4. Follow stretching exercises during your work hours while doing work.
Doctor :   This will prevent recurrence.
Doctor :   You can take those tablets for three days.
User :   Any other symptoms i should observe..
Doctor :   Any discoloration of the skin? Like bluish tinge?
User :   No discoloration
