User :   dr recently dr told me for cervical spondylitis x ray and now i got the report

Doctor :   Cervical spondylosis is a degenerative condition of the cervical spine.
Doctor :   Usually degenerative changes occur as the age progress.
Doctor :   and such changes are not seen in young age.
Doctor :   Due to these changes, a normally curved spine can get straightened.
Doctor :   The straightening is a reflex mechanism which occurs as the muscles on the spine stiffness.
Doctor :   The severity of the condition depends on how stiff the muscles are.

Doctor :   As I had mentioned to you, the straightening that is shown on the x ray is because of the spondylosis.

Doctor :   It is difficult to predict the severity of the condition based on the xray alone.

Doctor :   The severity of the condition depends on the symptoms that you have, presence or absence of neurological symptoms such as radiating pain to the arm, forearm, presence of weakness in the hands.
Doctor :   If no such symptoms are seen, I remember that you did not report such symptoms the last time
User :   yes i m suffering all these problems/pain

Doctor :   On and off symptoms may or may not be related to the cervical spondylosis.
Doctor :   People who suffer from serious cervical spondylosis have acute persisting pain, a constant radiating pain and persisting limb weakness.
Doctor :   So by your description, I do not think that you could have a serious concerning problem.
Doctor :   However measures needs to be taken if you wish to avoid the complications and a serious problems from occuring.

Doctor :   Severe cases of cervical spondylosis is associated with neurological problems.
Doctor :   As per your symptoms, they are not consistent with the features of neurological problems.

Doctor :   as the symptoms can be controlled well by medications and physiotherapy.

Doctor :   Apart from these techniques pain relieving medications such as ibuprofen 400mg twice a day can be used.
Doctor :   You may also use any other pain relievers which were suggested by your doctor?
