User:From the last week im having pain in my left shoulder and elbow
User:it severly limits my movement
User:i cant put second gear in my car..
User:from last night .. im having pain in my left wrist also
User:cant lift my left arm all the way up

Doctor:May I know the type of occupation you do?
User:software engineer :)
Doctor:Do you exercise/lift weights?
User:i used to.. but not in the last 6 months
Doctor:Is there any numbness/tingling sensation on the affected limb too?
User:none that i noticed
User:but the pain is most severe in the shoulder joint
User:and the elbow

User:not so severe
User:but about 3 years back
Doctor:Let me brief you.
Doctor:Unilateral limb pain spreading across the whole limb and neck are usually related to neck problems.
Doctor:Radicular pain caused by compresssion of nerves on the neck usually cause such spreading/radiating pain.
Doctor:You will need X-ray of the neck and may be an MRI scan of the neck to confirm the possibility.
Doctor:You may also need a nerve conduction test done to confirm the cause.
Doctor:Treatment will depend on determining the cause.
Doctor:Your symptoms is concerning to me, therefore I suggest you to visit an orthopedic/neurosurgeon and get the test done at the earliest.

Doctor:In the meantime, you can take analgesic drugs like Tab. Dolo 650mg thrice a day; apply pain relieving topical agents such as voveran spray over the neck and affected joints.
Doctor:Restrict movements of neck and if possible use a neck collar.
