Pain in operated area after delivery. Pain from taking brufen, panzer, metrogyl, meditax prescribed, . Suggestions? - Online Doctor Chats
welcome to XXXXXXX
I just had a chat with Dr XXXXXXX i forgot to ask one question, So i came again, My wife recently delivered a baby and it was Cisarean,
They gave tablet for pain for initial 3 days only, Now also she gets pain in the operated area, So need to confirm she can have continue the tablets during pain
may i know what tablet it was ?
Today she took 1/2 Brufen since she have huge pain, Is it advisable to take
Will it create any side effects...
metrogyl is a antibiotic
So which tablet she can take during pain
Now it is 13th day after surgery
She gets pain on the operated area some time very high
Brufen 400, is used for the pain relief and better healing
she can continue to take the same dosage as advised, initially for 3-4 days more
ok i heard it is nt advisable to take from Dr XXXXXXX She told that she can take Meditax 200 alone. I just now need to confirm is it for the Pain releif...?
since C section is a surgery, she will have pain, on movement of the operated area for some time
In order to control during high pain require some relief tablets.
and not a painkiller
What should she take then...
so Brufen is a good painkiller, and is widely used as a painrelief medication as well as it helps in healing of the operated area
So you say brufen can be taken...? Is that right
Will It cause any side effect for child/Mother
yes, brufen will be fine , to reduce the pain
no, taking the prescribed doses will be fine and not cause any issues for both baby and mother
Buth they told this to take only for 3 days, Since my wife is having pain i am asking can i continue only prufen during pain or Not?
Please be little clear, Can she take or not?
yes, That is what my advice is
ok. Thanks bys
she can take Brufen for another 3-4 days
Ibuprofen passes into breastmilk in very low levels -- less than 0.6 percent of the maternal dose.
Hence there is no reason for you to worry about the use of Ibuprofen (Brufen ) for the relief of the postoperative pain
u r welcome
take care and bye for now
