User : Hi, may I answer your health querie right now ? Please type your query here... I have had back pain for 4 months . It started in small of lower back felt sharp pain when pulling on my clothes bending forward etc
this radiated to my middle back causing aching near spine and ribs. Went to doctors had xray all clear. I am worried about spine cancer
Doctor : Hi
Doctor : I am
Doctor : Let me read your query
Doctor : What is your age ?
User : 33
Doctor : So it all started suddenly after a forward bending
Doctor : What is your weight and height?
User : I was busy at Christmas and just woke up with it, the pain has gone when I put clothes on but if bend over I can feel it and if I lean up on something
User : 5f1 9stone 8
Doctor : These kind of pains cannot be related to cancer
Doctor : Cancer pain is dull, increasing over a period of time and continous
User : Why do you say that
Doctor : Importantly there is loss of weight and apetite
User : But this is always there like a ache especially in the rib area
User : No I am fine eating normally no numbness just worried why it hasn't gone
Doctor : The muscular pains are always long standing and can repeat on sudden motions
User : Would a xray show something sinister
Doctor : Avoid sudden motions
Doctor : Muscular cause is not evident on X ray
User : About the xray question
User : But would a tumour show
Doctor : yes
Doctor : Tumor shows in Xray
Doctor : In my opinion you should not worry about the back pain
User : That's good to know, do you think it would be worth havng a MRI
Doctor : You can take an MRI, for better visualisation of details
Doctor : You can also take a second opinion from Spine surgeon
User : By doctor seems to think a xray is enough
Doctor : SInce you are worried
Doctor : I have to recommend an MRI
Doctor : otherwise yes the Doctor is correct
Doctor : Would you like to take a second opinion, you may go here with one on our panel
