User :   Hi, I am having mild pain in my lower abdomen since last two days

User :   i had done sonography and ct scan of my abdomen a couple of weeks back... but nothing was highlighted in my intestines
User :   tho it showed a tumor in my left kidney (RCC) and a result of which my left kidney was sugically removed on 12 July 11..
User :   and i have been on antibiotics since then

User :   before i was discharged i went thru a urine test also
Doctor :   Coming back to your symptoms, you have pain in the lower abdomen since past two days, is that right?
User :   my doc did not highlight any issues as a result of the report
Doctor :   I hope the urine report was normal, wasn't it?

User :   it was because of this occassional lower abdomen pain that i went for a sonography of the abdomen... but ended up identifying the tumor in the kidney..
Doctor :   How is your eating habits now?
Doctor :   Are you eating normally?

Doctor :   It seems to be like a simple spasm of muscles in your lower abdomen
User :   normal food... a little soft stool.. no vomiting.. no loss of appetite
User :   i have gas tho
Doctor :   The pain that you are experiencing may be due to the effects of the surgery also
Doctor :   May I know how severe is the pain?
Doctor :   Gas in the intestines is a normal finding

User :   the person who did the sonography told me that she cud see gas in my intestines.. thats all.. no other issues..

User :   but this kind of pain has been there before the sugery also
User :   i used to have loose motions (not very loose) sometimes along with this lower abdomen pain (mild).. hence my doc had suggested me to go for a sonography in the first place..
User :   whilst the kidney issue has been resolved (thru surgery), my original issue remains :)

User :   since the kidney issue was quite serious.. i was told to ignore the lower abdominal pain as nothing was noted in the CT scan / sonogrpahy

Doctor :   Why don't you just repeat a simple Ultrasound of the abdomen again
User :   i mean cud it be ulcers or appendix
Doctor :   Since it is post operative period also

Doctor :   Make sure you are passing adequate amounts of urine

Doctor :   Also, eat 2 bananas minimum everday
User :   i pass uring around 8-10 times a day

Doctor :   consume lot of fibre in your diet

User :   can certain excercises like lying down and liftng the legs from the knee or from the hip.. result in lower abdominal pain?
Doctor :   Wait and watch for few days

Doctor :   You can take simple antispasmodics
Doctor :   You can take Tab. Cyclopam for the pain
User :   i have been doing some excercies suggested by my physiotherapist.. may they have caused some stress

Doctor :   It doesn't harm kidney
User :   i have been told to avoid pain killers as i have only kidney now

Doctor :   You can take it one tablet after food if pain is severe
