User :   My right knee&below it got swelled.I have difficulty in walking straight.The Calf-muscles become stiff due to continuous standing.What should I do

User :   No ,not yet
Doctor :   for your height, i would consider a weight of 85 as Adequte
User :   What do you suggest?
Doctor :   so you are overweight by atleast 25 kilos
Doctor :   the first and foremost - weight reduction
Doctor :   being overweight can cause severe stress on the knee bones and cause arthritis
Doctor :   i would advice you to get an Xrays of the knee joint, so see if there is anything abnormal
User :   Now after taking rest for 4 days the swelling subsided but still some slight difficulty while walking.
Doctor :   if the Xrays are normal, then limb elevation and rest would be ok, for reducing the swelling
Doctor :   this means that this is arthritis, affecting you, duew to you being overweight
Doctor :   take some brufen for the pain
User :   Ordinary X-ray or Digital X-ray?
Doctor :   and try heat fomentation, and moov ointment for pain relief

Doctor :   but for weight reduction - which is the main treatment for u, i would advice diet, excercise, and physiotherapy

Doctor :   a diet chart , after counselling from our dietician, will help you, to get a specific diet, which will help you lose weight as well as control your diabetes
User :   I tried brisk walking but due to pain I have stopped.

Doctor :   But if u dont lose weight, your issue will get complicated and more problematic

Doctor :   Most Common causes of Hair Loss: * Genetic reasons (in which case it happens with age).
* During or after a severe illness.
* Post pregnancy.
* Slow but significant hair loss can be due to rapid weight loss.
* Prolonged anxiety and stress.
* Other reasons can be infection of the scalp, severe dandruff etc.
