User :   I have just developed a sharp stabbing pain between my shoulder blades, almost to the point of taking my breath away and making me feel very faint... I am a 48 year old woman.

Doctor :   Do you have associated chest pain
User :   No I thought it was indigestion but I have never had this before. I do feel like I have something stuck and I keep swallowing.
Doctor :   Do you have breathlesness on exertion?
User :   No.
Doctor :   I would strongly suggest an ECG ASAP
Doctor :   These are symptoms of heart trouble
User :   Just this extreme pain which seems to be now resonating up to my neck and ear on my right side. It is unbearable..
Doctor :   Considering your age and for your welbeing would strongly suggest you for medical care
Doctor :   Did you recently have any history of fall?
User :   No... but I am on medication for acid reflux I am wondering if it has gone ton far...

Doctor :   But in case of acid peptic disease will have no pain radiating in back
User :   The pain is not continuous - its like having contractions they are about a minute or two apart
Doctor :   The pain in the region could be simple too may be a cramp but even caridac abnormalities will elict similar type of pain
