User :   I have not had a regular period for about 5 years. I am 31 years old. In those 5 years I have had two children. I haven't had a period for about 6 months or more. My Ob/gyn has suggested I have an ablasion. I totally trust him but I want to find out WHY I don't have a period. Should I be concerned with this?

User :   yes. my blood work shows that i don't ovulate regularly. i had an ultrasound and he said my ovaries had folicles on them but he wasn't concerned.
