Doctor :   Hi,
Doctor :   Hello ,
Doctor :   How can i help you ?
User :   I have an ovulation ?. If I have regular periods on a 28 day cycle, what is the earliest I could ovulate?
Doctor :   12th day of the cycle could be the earliest
User :   See I have a paternity issue and I don't know who to turn to with it bc my boyfriend always goes to dr.'s appts w me but I am nearly 28 weeks pregnant. The first day of my last period was 9/24. I have am pretty positive I have normal 28 day cycles. I have always had perfectly normal cycles. I had sex with an old friend on Oct. 2nd. He wore a condom and pulled out. This was on day 9 of my cycle. And I'm embarrassed to say I then had sex with my boyfriend on Oct 8th, which is the day I am supposed to have ovulated and he came inside me completely unprotected on that day and on the 9th and 10th. I realize that it's hard to tell without a period in between or a DNA test but I want to know the chances that its my friend's bc I obsess over it all day, everyday. It's the worst thing that could ever happen. My boyfriend is so excited about being a daddy. What are the chances he's not? Also, I distinctly remember having a little bleeding on Oct. 22 that I assumed was implantation and had a positive pregnancy test on Oct.21st. My friend says he is certain he pulled out in time and was def wearing protection.
User :   I have a paternity ? But my boyfriend always goes to the dr. With me so I cannot ask it.
User :   I have tried to post on baby center forums but everyone just scolds me for being a bad person and I want a medical answer. What are the chances the ultrasounds are wrong and some pre cum got inside me somehow through the condom and was able to live for at least what...4 days vs. Getting pregnant having unprotected sex w no pull out on the very day I ovulated?
Doctor :   since its 9th day of the periods its very unlikely that you would have ovulated
Doctor :   and over that a usage of condom , i would consider there would literally be no chance where your friend could be by any chance the reason of the present pregnancy
User :   As far as using a condom with pull out, would you think that is pretty effective contraception?
Doctor :   yes,
Doctor :   far more safer tan a ejaculate inside
Doctor :   than*
User :   Oh! That's so good to hear!
User :   Yes my boyfriend did inside me on the day I am pretty sure I ovulated..the 8th n then again on the 9th n like i said my ultrasounds always date right. I am just paranoid bc someone told me I could get pregnant anytime in a month and i heard sperm could live like 7 days.
Doctor :   not at al , sperms could stay alive on a maximum of two days
Doctor :   but in case of you old friend , even if precum /small amount of sperm has entered in it would have not survived more than a day
User :   Awesome...I have literally been on the verge of a mental breakdown over this. And I should know better. I distinctly remember my friend pulling out and the condom still being there bc I was thinking that was a lot of precaution but I'm glad he did. That plus it only being the 9th day of my cycle should confirm my boyfriend as the father?
User :   Thank you
Doctor :   yes, your boy friend is the father
Doctor :   You are welcome
Doctor :   Thanks for consulting me
Doctor :   kindly provide your feedback
User :   Oh I am so relieved!!! Thank you so much. My consciences was really playing mind tricks with me!
Doctor :   Do not think over it again
User :   Of course. Thank you
Doctor :   you have an answer now
User :   : )
Doctor :   Bye for now
Doctor :   Take care
Doctor :   Wish you good health
User :   You too!
