Doctor :   hi
User :   hi
Doctor :   how can i help you
User :   i have a small white spot on my lower lip, and its not a cold sore, it doesnt hurt there isnt any fluid in it, jus a white piece of a skin what can it be
Doctor :   since when u have this
User :   a coupla months or so
Doctor :   is this white spot increasing in size?
User :   nope
Doctor :   You could have two different conditions. The small white dots of the upper lip are probably what are known as Fordyce granules. These are tiny sebaceous or oil glands that are found to one degree or another in 9 out of 10 adults. They are perfectly normal.
Doctor :   or it could be due to yeast infection called candida albicans
Doctor :   i would suggest u to consult a physician to confirm these diagnoses and treat the yeast infection, it may be appropriate to see an oral pathologist
Doctor :   as well
User :   can guys get yeast infections?
Doctor :   yes
User :   ok well thank u for your help
Doctor :   ur welcome
Doctor :   bye for now
