User :   For about apprx 6 months, i have been experiencing pain in my foot when I get up from bed in the morning. This vanishes after sometime.

Doctor :   There are various causes of foot pain as sprains, bruises, tendonitis, fascitis etc.
Doctor :   Is the pain only during morning
User :   Ok
User :   My gut feeling is it is because of weight
User :   Once I had reduced 2 kgs by doing good exercise, it had vanished

User :   I do weight training on weekends and walking thrice in a week. On these days it is more.

User :   I do exercise, but I do not have good control on my diet

User :   Not while walking. Only when I get up in the morning.
Doctor :   Then go for a daily brisk walk for 30 minutes, it will hwlp you in reducing also.

Doctor :   Walking should be such that it increases your heart rate and at the same time does not hurt your legs.

Doctor :   Whenever you are sitting try to elevate your legs.

Doctor :   Take tab SHELLCAL daily once for few months.

Doctor :   You can also join swimming, it is a good exercise for reducing weight and also help in foot pain.

Doctor :   It would not hurt your legs and will help you in reducing weight
User :   I do cycling on weekends - 20 kms
Doctor :   Avoid cycling for sometime, it will definitely increase the pain.
Doctor :   And may cause muscle strains and pulls

User :   My guess is cycling is not the problem, but I will take your advice.
Doctor :   I am suggesting because if the muscles are already strained up then it may cause tendon or ligament injury.
