User :   i've had numbness on the outside of my thigh for over a week now
User :   an aching pain just started last night
User :   i went to an urgent care center today and the doctor said he thought it might be meralgia paresthetica
User :   but now i'm feeling numbness in my toes
Doctor :   Where is the pain?
User :   and an aching pain all the way down the back of my leg
User :   the outside of my left thigh is all numb and my toes are feeling tingley
User :   and it feels like a deep ache in my leg
Doctor :   What is your age?
User :   22
User :   i've had a hx of abdominal problems but i don't think that's relevant to this
Doctor :   Did he suggest some medicines?
User :   no
User :   he just said he thinks it's meralgia paresthetica and that it would go away on it's own but it might be weeks to months
User :   but i'm getting concern now since the numbness is going down to my toes now
Doctor :   Ok did you have similar pain in the past?
User :   no
Doctor :   Is it the dorsum of foot or only toes, the numbness?

Doctor :   Is it only one leg or both of them?
User :   just my left

User :   abdominal issues

User :   they think it's the liver or the bile duct
User :   i used to but not anymore

Doctor :   So the numbness and the pain on the outer lateral left thigh started a week back and today the numbness of the toes, right?
User :   yes
User :   and aching pain started yesterday
Doctor :   Did you try some pain killers?
User :   i've tried aleve and ibprofen
Doctor :   Did they help?
User :   not really
Doctor :   What is yur weight?
User :   210
Doctor :   Do you have fat accumulation in the thigh / calf?
User :   idk
Doctor :   Are you more concerned if this aching pain is related to some disease?
User :   i'm concerned because my leg has been numb for over a week and now my toes are tingley and i don't want it to be something that is progressing
Doctor :   If your doctor's relation is correct about meralgia, then the new symptom should not come
User :   but since i do have tingley sensation in my toes does that mean it could be somethign else?
Doctor :   It may not be
Doctor :   Some times these symptoms arise out of nowhere and subside within a day or two
Doctor :   They do not have relation with any disease
User :   ok
Doctor :   However you need the physical testing of sensations again
User :   the what?
Doctor :   Testing of sensations of light touch, crude touch, pain , temperature over the areas
User :   they never did that before
User :   with this new symptom do i need to get it checked out again?
Doctor :   Ofcourse there are few medicines which can provide temporary relief
User :   ok
Doctor :   You may take a general appointment with a physician ( not at urgent clinic)
User :   ok
Doctor :   Urgent clinic physicians do not evaluate completely
User :   thank you
Doctor :   As the name says, they just help you in the subsidence of symptoms
User :   yea, well it was sunday, and the only thing open today
Doctor :   Yeah
User :   i will call my regular doctor tomorrow
