User:Hello, thank you for talking with me. I'm XXXXXX
Doctor:Please proceed with the query
User:okay.. i'm really confused about what's going on with me. I've not had an actual period since December 9th. just random light spotting. My back has hurt, and so have my breasts. I've felt some nausea. But im not really hungry. hpts have said negative to pregnacy. but in my family levels don't show up.
Doctor:Have you done any scanning?
User:i've had some pain on my sides twice, & i haven't been on birth control since november.
User:what is scaning?
Doctor:Since you did not have a normal period since dec 9 th
User:it would show up by now if something was wrong? would
Doctor:what other symptoms do you have
User:back aces, headaces, breasts sore, nausea, barely hungry, and if i am i have to want it really badly, light pink spotting, and once dark spotting, my urine is a strong smell sometimes, random cramps on my sides..
Doctor:How old are you?
User:i'll be 18 march 10th.
Doctor:What is your weigth
User:it was 170, then 165, then 157 now 165 again.
Doctor:Are you having unprotected intercourse from November
User:yes with my boyfriend.
Doctor:ok, you are overweight
Doctor:And you might need a scan to rule out certain things
Doctor:Like PCOD
Doctor:Poly cystic ovaries, anemia,preganncy
Doctor:Blood tests like Hemoglobin will be required
Doctor:Do you have acne?
Doctor:Increase in facial hair.
User:Not really. maybe out of nowhere. No.
Doctor:A scan is important right, there might be hormonal changes
User:i don't understand why i would just stop having a period i'm usually always regular. around the 22nd then i had it early december 9th and that was the last time. except for spotting.
Doctor:Do you have any other medical illness?
User:No I don't. I'm always very healthy.
Doctor:Such changes occur due to hormonal changes which can be easily corrected
Doctor:do not worry, my first concern is to rule out preganncy
Doctor:If it is positive you will need to take definitve measures at the earliest
Doctor:rest can be taken care of like anemia, pcod, hormonal changes
User:what exactly is anemia, and pcod?
Doctor:anemia is less amount of blood in the body
Doctor:or reduced hemoglobin
Doctor:this will cause pale skin, reduced periods etc..
Doctor:PCOD is cyst in ovaries, these are due to hormonal changes
User:i've had a cyst before that bursted about a year ago when i had to get cervical cancer cells removed. could that come back? and do you think it is possible for an std? : /
Doctor:I doubt it is std
Doctor:The cyst will be in the ovary
User:ahh, thank you.
Doctor:not in vagina or external area
Doctor:so do not worry
User:in the ovary could that make it difficult to be pregnant?
Doctor:yes sometimes
Doctor:Once you confirm about it , we can assess the problem
User:when i do make an appointment, is there a way i can talk with you again?
Doctor:so do not worry till then
Doctor:You can ask for me through chat itself
