Doctor :   Ok,
User :   ok... thanks...
User :   i am married 1 year back and trying to conceive
Doctor :   Were you taking any pills Before this.
Doctor :   Do you have any medical illness?
Doctor :   Are you there.
User :   since i couldnt conceive normally, i have been put in induced cycle, but invain. so have done some test like 1. Mycobacterium endometrium tuberculosis on 1st day of periods thru PCR 2. Hormone test on 3rd day of periods and 3. HSG of fallopian tubes
Doctor :   What have the reports come and on what tablet has she put you on.
Doctor :   ok'
Doctor :   Did you show any symptoms of weight loss,
User :   It was found that i am suffering from Mycobacterium endometric tuberculosis
User :   so i am under medication of AKruit- 4 for 2 months
Doctor :   First you have to clear the M.bact t.b then only you can plan on conceiving. what is your weight and height.
User :   no.. i am suffering from irregular periods for past 2 yrs, and the hormone test show the symptoms of PCOS
Doctor :   That is ok.
Doctor :   What was your weight before pcos
User :   my weight is 63 and height is 5.5
User :   so how long i have to be in medication? and whether i am following correct medication?
User :   66Kg
Doctor :   ok,have you done endometrial biopsy or a PCR sample
User :   i am having AKruit- 4 (4 times a day) and Beneton-20mg(1/2 in the morning)
Doctor :   ok,so no biopsy done,
User :   PCR sample
User :   on first day of periods
Doctor :   Noramlyy treatemnt will be given for 6 months , and she has given for 4 months right.
User :   Yes
User :   HSG report shows there is no block in fallopian tube
User :   yes.. Exactly
Doctor :   that is good, but endometrial tb itself while healing will cause adhesions making it difficult to conceive.
User :   she told she will reduce the dosage after 2 months
User :   Yes... she has asked to take contraceptive pill named Femilon for 2 months
Doctor :   Ok.
User :   and she told it will normalise the cycle as well
Doctor :   Yes it will, when did you last have regular periods
User :   so how long i have to be under treatment for complete cure?
User :   and can i conceive easy after the medication?
Doctor :   When was your last period
User :   till Nov 2009
Doctor :   If by chance you miss any of your periods you will have to check for pregnancy, there are chances you will conceive in tube.
Doctor :   Ok,
User :   my last period was on 13-06-2011
User :   since i am under t.b medication, doc prescribed contraceptive pill named femilon
Doctor :   yes i read it. Tell your gynaec or any other to do the endometrial biopsy, because that is 100 percent proof of tb
User :   and she told i cant conceive for first 2 months of medication
Doctor :   If not done, do it after the treatment is over .Becuase 4 months is too short duration, MInimum 6 months or else 9 months.
User :   ok
Doctor :   For taking the tb tablets.
Doctor :   Yes, it is the only 100 percent guarantee that youa re treated and no tb in uterus lining.
User :   ok.. you mean endometrical biopsy to ensure the Mycobacterium tb is cured or not?
Doctor :   yes
User :   is the biopsy done through laproscopy?
Doctor :   yes
User :   will t.b also cause irregular periods?
User :   ok.. will it be possible for me to conceive easily after treatment?
Doctor :   If only pcr shows tb and biopsy reports are negative then it is easy.
Doctor :   Else there will be some problem, again nothing is impossible. There are many new treatments so dont worry.
User :   ok.. and one more thing is i havent taken BCG injection in my childhood
User :   my parents had missed it
Doctor :   ok, that was very important
Doctor :   yes,
User :   i am going to complete 2 months of treatment. so one of my family doc told if i test for endometric tb it will show negative, since i had commenced the medication
Doctor :   do it.
Doctor :   But find out the exact number you should take. This time yourtreatment should be completed.
User :   ok.. then how the biopsy helps?
Doctor :   Biopsy shows whether it has affected the lining or not.
Doctor :   No risks but decreased chances
User :   Ok.. if there are signs of affected lining? what is the risk involved?
Doctor :   It will get treated, but adhesions form inside the lining which do not help to carry the baby.
Doctor :   No
Doctor :   There will be scars.
User :   ok... u mean to say that the endometric thickness will be less and it makes unable to conceive?
Doctor :   Adhesions meaning attaching 2 surfaces together because of scars
User :   ok... is it not the part of treatment i am taking now?
Doctor :   That is to cure tb bacilli.Nothinng like that.Do not be stressed.Only chances of conceiving will be less.
User :   ok... in that case, i will end up with abortion?
Doctor :   Without getting the reports you are getting worried.
User :   or chances of conceive is less?
Doctor :   Now you must be in starting stage so why worry
Doctor :   Take the entire course of treatment
User :   any food habits that i have to follow during this anti tubular treatment ?
Doctor :   Nothing as such, follow healthy diet.USe boiled milk,
Doctor :   One of the causes of tb is
Doctor :   Unboiled milk from cows infected with tb
Doctor :   But that is intenstinal tb
User :   hmm..
Doctor :   The truth is endometrial tb is from direct vaginal contact from the earth
User :   oh.. ok..
User :   ok...
User :   It is nice chatting with you...
Doctor :   Like when a girl sits without underwear on the infected spit on the ground, this is in rural sorroundings
User :   earth?
Doctor :   Small girls i mean to say
User :   i am not getting u
Doctor :   Than in later life these things happen, there are various ways and spread of tb
Doctor :   So not only from a patient who has coughed or sneezed
User :   ok...
User :   one more thing doctor, iuse the same underwear during menses and normal days, so not sure whether it spread through under wear as well
Doctor :   So dont take tension, dont worry it has happened yrs back .So now no point of worrying.
Doctor :   It wont spread anywhere now.
User :   ok... will it spread on intercourse?
Doctor : can happen.but your husband must be vaccinated
Doctor :   So find out about it
Doctor :   then don worry.
User :   yes.. he is vaccinated.
Doctor :   Ok, pleasure here to.
Doctor :   Kindly login for further medical queries.
User :   thanks for your time... nice chatting with you.
Doctor :   Bye
User :   no problem
