User :   I am having boils on my tongue - we call them "chandi" in Hindi. Quite painful to eat or speak when the tongue touches teeth or any solid item. Can anything be done?
Doctor :   From how long are you having this.
User :   Also having thick white deposit on the tongue.
User :   For about 5 days now.
Doctor :   Ok,you will have to drink lots of water and eat collong foods
Doctor :   Cooling foods like cucumber
Doctor :   Barley water
Doctor :   Ice cream
User :   Ok. I am already drinking 2.5 to 2.75 litres of water everyday.

Doctor :   Avoid spicy and chilly foods
User :   Ice cream? Children will scream on this prescription.... but I generally avoid them as too rich in calories and sugar....

User :   Avoid Tea/Coffee .. Ok No problem.
User :   Aah the word was ulcer...
Doctor :   Eat tulsi leaves daily for few months to permanently stop this.
Doctor :   4 to 5 leaves

Doctor :   Basically this is heat and acidity, so you know what to avoid to prevent this
Doctor :   Eat few hours before sleeping.
Doctor :   Use raised pillow while sleeping.
User :   I don't have acidity symptoms
User :   In Mumbai eating early is gen not an option. I eat between 8 and 8.30 and sleep 2 hours after that.

User :   Ao should I take any antacid tabs?
