Doctor :   Hi
Doctor :   Dr here
Doctor :   How can i help you?
User :   My bf and I had sex twice in July. I am not totally sure when my last period was (I never keep track) but I do not remember having my period since then.
User :   We used a condom but he always penetrates me first then pulls-out puts on a condom and finishes
Doctor :   Was it unprotected intercourse? Any idea when you had your last period?
Doctor :   May i know your age?
User :   what do you think the likelihood my missed period is because of pregnancy?
User :   I am 23
User :   We had sex July 20 and 21
Doctor :   Initial penetration also contains spermatic fluid and it is not safe to do unprotected.
User :   My last period (i think) was the week before
User :   Yes I have read that
Doctor :   Do you mean week before you had intercourse?
User :   Yes
User :   I also feel like I could be getting a cold and have a slight temp. Could that be it?
Doctor :   Did you get Urine pregnancy test done?
User :   I have had headaches on and off the last few weeks
User :   no not yet
User :   been under some stree but nothing more than I have handled before
Doctor :   Then please do it immediately.
User :   stress*
User :   Do you think it is likely?
Doctor :   Its been two months since you had periods and you may be pregnant
User :   Does it seem like I have those symptoms or is the test just to be sure I am not?
Doctor :   Those symptoms can be due to any infection but they do not corelate with not having periods.
Doctor :   Get the Urine HCG test done immediately.
User :   I have had a few dizzy spells but I thought it was just because I have changed my diet. I am eating more healthy but not as much though still a healthy amount.
User :   I also gave blood a few weeks ago and passed out afterwards. I have given blood before and been sick after but never actually passed out. If I am pregnant would that of hurt the baby?
Doctor :   It may be you are not eating properly so that can be a cause
User :   I mean I each chicken, brocc, bananas, apples, oats and stuff
User :   I eat a good amount just not all the junk I used to
Doctor :   How much blood did you give?
User :   I dont know. I think a pint. It was the red cross so whatever they normally take
Doctor :   OK
Doctor :   Right now it may not have hurt if you are pregnant
User :   My lower back has been hurting this week but I went tumbling at my old gym so I thought that was what it was from. Yesterday I had some cramps that felt like I might start my period but nothing happened
Doctor :   Unless and until there is confirmation for pregnancy please avoid going to gym
User :   About 2 weeks ago I had a brown/red spot on the towlet paper so I thought I was starting. Put a tampon in and later when I took it out there was only a little brown/red on the tip and nothing since.
User :   I am very confused
User :   ok
Doctor :   Did you have any bleeding also while going to toilet?
User :   nope. none
Doctor :   Then first get the test done to be sure of everything.
User :   I was also moody a few weeks ago like I always am the week before my period and then nothing and I feel really calm and at peace now.
User :   other than being confused that is
Doctor :   Ok
User :   in your official opinion what do you think. Does it sound like I am pregnant. I mean do these symptoms fit together or am I being silly?
Doctor :   Since you did not have periods for so long it can be that you are pregnant but it cant be commented like that
Doctor :   Were your periods regular otherwise?
User :   yeah I mean I know they were normally a little shorter than a month.
Doctor :   Ok
User :   If it were on the 17 one month then the next it would be maybe say the 15th.
User :   Heck I even broke out like my period was coming and nothing
Doctor :   It were on july and it is going to be two months already so it is to be concerned.
User :   I even had a hot flash about a week and a half ago
Doctor :   Ok
Doctor :   Is this the first time you have missed periods for so long?
User :   Yeah I mean like I said I not normally keep track (will start now) but yeah as far as I know I havent missed one in years
Doctor :   I will advice you to get a Urine Pregnancy test done first and then decide accordingly what is to be done.
Doctor :   Have you followed what i have said?
User :   Being pregnant would not be bad. It just didnt seem like thats what it was.
User :   yes
User :   thank you
Doctor :   In the initial phase you do not have much changes in the body.
Doctor :   Some may experience mood swings, tiredness, nausea and some do not have any symptoms
User :   Oh I am on dexidrine for my ADD is that ok to take or should I stop until I know if I am pregnant?
Doctor :   Since when are you on Dexidrine?
User :   Been on it on and off for years
User :   since elementary school
Doctor :   Are you not taking it regularly?
User :   Well I stopped in high school then started again maybe 2 years ago. I take it during the week and usually off on the weekends. Just use it when I have college classes.
User :   Sorry totally forgot about it. It is such a normal part of my life I have been on it so long I forgot.
Doctor :   Then it is better to stop for sometime unless you are confirmed
User :   It is better to stop unless I know I am NOT pregnant? Is that what you mean?
Doctor :   Yes
User :   ok just making sure
Doctor :   After that if you want to continue pregnancy then you can consult your gynaec
User :   ok thank you
User :   and if I am pregnant I will be continuing with it. Thank you for your help!
Doctor :   Is there anything else you would like to know?
Doctor :   Thanks for consulting me, bye for now
