User :   well right now im takin maalox about 3 times a day in mornin after lunch and night
User :   mylanta i take whenever i feel all bloated
Doctor :   in acid peptic disorder it is important to observe some restrictions in food as well of time of medication consumption
Doctor :   i shall suggest you to follow this
Doctor :
avoid the spicy food for a week
Doctor :   shake the bottle well before pouring each dose. The liquid form works best if taken without other fluids or food. You can mix your
dose with a little water if needed.
User :   i been followin a diet but nothing is going away, im worried somehow its my hear because of this pressure on my chest and i feel out of breath just when walkin
Doctor :   mylanta needs to be consumed in empty stomach and not after food
Doctor :   Tab zantac 75 mg this is OTC take this twice a day one tab in the morning and one at bed time for 7 days
Doctor :   this medication is for the reduction of the acid secretion.
User :   is it normal to have discomfort like i said before around the heart region?
Doctor :
yeah it is the reflux of acid into esophagus from stomach which causes this and it is normal in the people suffering from hyperacidity
Doctor :
not to worry much
Doctor :   tab zantac 75 mg will take care of the acid secretion. you need to take them twice daily for 7 days
User :   why would i feel pressure on side of my neck tho?
Doctor :   oesophagus also called as food pipe extends from neck to stomach. if the acid from stomach reflux into the food pipe its obvious there will be pressure like symptom from stomach to neck and in the center of the chest
User :   but my pressure is on left side and i feel it on the left side of my neck and my color bone as if sumone has their foot on it
Doctor :   is it still persisting?

Doctor :   i mean is it constant or occurs in bouts
User :   itll come and go
User :   like when the pressure increases in my left chest itll move up my neck
Doctor :
does it move on to your left arm?
User :   no not really
User :   like i kinda have it right now and its hard to take a deep breath
User :   could it also be anxiety?
Doctor :   yes very much possible
Doctor :
do you have excess work pressure or some sort of tension?
User :   no blieve it or not when i go to the gym i feel very good during and after the workout
User :   many times if i sit down too long or when im at work ill feel pressure in my chest all the sudden
User :   im always burping too
User :   see right now i feel tightness on left side of my neck
Doctor :   it is very clear burping is a sign of hyper acidity
User :   down to my collar bone
Doctor :
may i know your age?
User :   22
Doctor :   Age, the symptoms and the initial evaluation for the cardiac cause for your symptom being negative - it is the acid peptic disorder

Doctor :
if you still feel that there is some cardiac element which might have been missed in the early cardiac evaluation.
User :   what are signs i should be lookin out for?
Doctor :   you can get a TMT done for your satisfaction that there is no problem from your heart
User :   i know but i am uninsured right now
Doctor :   what you can do is
Doctor :
try the medication zantac 75 mg for 7 days along with the food restriction and antacid you are using and see if there is any improvement
Doctor :
if at all there is no improvement than you have to make it to the doctor for the evaluation
User :   i guess so.... i just got up to get a glass of water and felt this pressure again
Doctor :   ok
Doctor :   you can consume 5 ml of the myalanta mixed into the water now
Doctor :
this will offer some symptomatic relief
