my son 8 yrs old having 105 degree fever, consulted pediatrician,so please give hint to bring the fever down

Doctor :   1)The medications given are fine, it will take about 3 days for the oral medications to be effective.
Doctor :   2) Apply cold sponge when the fever is very high.
User :   but i am afraid of high temp
Doctor :   3)Give him steam inhalation after adding Karvol Plus in water
Doctor :   Thats why i am recommending cold sponge.
Doctor :   4)Make sure your child consumes fluids throughout the day. The child should also be given healthy, digestible food such as small portions of rice, grains, bananas and cereal among many others.
