User :   i have just been operated for gall stone.. it seems the gall bladder was full of stones
User :   pls advise what is way ahead with respect to diet and lifestyle

User :   it was a laproscopic operation but the stiches just below the rib cage is giving a lot of pain
User :   am unable to sit for long
User :   am Female and 38yrs

User :   12.07.2010 was the surgery date
User :   stitches removed on 20th
Doctor :   so it is very near
User :   no oozing.. just that while sitting there is pressure on the zone and it starts paining

User :   3 days

User :   the other stitches dont have any problem and not even the drain point
Doctor :   is your wound outside healing or healed?
User :   healing
User :   the black scar is not out yet..
User :   am applying betadine ointment
Doctor :   so what you need to look for is fever or more oozing from the site

User :   sorry forgot.. i am diabetic
User :   am on amaryl m 1gm

User :   ff- 144 and pp- 146
User :   yes am on diet
User :   complete fat free diet
Doctor :   Most gallbladders are removed by laparoscopic cholecystectomy.

Doctor :   fasting is a bit high
Doctor :   pp is ok
User :   but in office i am feeling the pain and its an uneasy feeling
Doctor :   Laparoscopic removal:procedure causes less pain than open surgery.
User :   how long will it take , it bec of the diabetes
Doctor :   Laparoscopy is less likely to cause any complications
Doctor :   It usually takes 20 minutes to one hour.
Doctor :   I would request you to get few more visit to your surgeon soon
Doctor :   and for at least 1 month from surgery
Doctor :   No other follow-up or long-term care is required.

Doctor :   so control your sugar also
