User :   yesterday I was out for a walk and my rectum started hurting a little, I got home, took a shower and felt a golf ball sized lump on my rectum. It is tannish skin colored and hurts incredibly badly. I took 5 hot baths and 5 ice packs, stayed off my feet and today it is no better should I keep this up a few more days or what is this? I drink 50 to 60 oz of water a day, I eat fish, fruit and veggies, very rarely go over 1000 calories and work out 4 days a week so thought it couldn't be a thrombosed hemmeroid but I guess it could be.
Doctor :   Hi
Doctor :   I am Dr. XXX
User :   Hello
Doctor :   Let me read it
Doctor :   and I need 2 minutes
Doctor :   Do you see blood on the tissue?

Doctor :   Are you sure it is size of a golf ball?

User :   it isn't purple, it actually looks a little lighter then my tan skin color
User :   I take stool softners every morning as I have always had trouble going to the bathroom usually only once a week but with the softners more like 5 times a week
Doctor :   Do you mean you noticed it all of a sudden with a sudden pain?
User :   so with the stool softners it is normal one day but diarria the next
User :   I noticed that when I walked it was burning a little
Doctor :   What actually were you doing when you had the sudden pain?
User :   I was golfing but the lump didn't come out until after I came home and went to the bathroom
Doctor :   As it can be a thrombosed vein or rectal prolapse
Doctor :   It should be examined immediately by a PCP atleast
Doctor :   Though not a worrisome situation
Doctor :   there are some things which are to be detected early and treated
Doctor :   this is one of them
User :   dang i was afraid of that I live 100 miles from any doctor so thought I would get a second opinion before I drove to town.
User :   Thank you
Doctor :   But I still feel that you have to drive to Doctor and get it examined
Doctor :   ASAP
User :   I will thank you
Doctor :   Is there anything else I can help you with?
