User :   I have a question...i have had lower abdominal pain for the last two days.. I'm bloated severely. today when I went to the use the restroom there were white stringy things in my urine.. what causes this. I'm insulin dependent diabetic. I don't know if that matters. Just know I am in alot of pain
Doctor :   hi
Doctor :   Dr.XXXXXX here
Doctor :   let me read what you have typed
Doctor :   when was last sugar levels checked?
User :   an hour ago
Doctor :   do you have other symptoms associated like: burning with urination, change in color of urine?
Doctor :   what were the sugar values? were they normal?
User :   no sir, I just have alot of gas.. my sugar was 145
Doctor :   the white things that you saw could be either vaginal discharge washed out with urine, protien casts in urine that is seen with infection and inflammation
Doctor :   where is the abdomen pain located?
Doctor :   please describe the pain in detail
User :   it started out two days ago in the lower left quad. now has move across the whole lower lever. dull pain but tender to palp.
Doctor :   ok. is it coming in bouts or is it a constant pain?
Doctor :   what seems to make the pain worse?
Doctor :   how did the pain start? did you eat heavy meal/fatty meal that precipitated it?
User :   was in bouts for up to first half of today.. now it is constant and if I stand it worsens
User :   no sir, I didn't eat anything fatty heavy meals. I generally eat. 6 small meals a day. My sugars crashed two nights ago I ain't a half of peanut butter and banana sandwich about as heavy of a meal I get
Doctor :   ok
Doctor :   i would recommend you to go ahead with 1) a urine test to see if urine infection is cause for white casts
User :   ate.. sorry I have acquired a headache
Doctor :   2) an examination of abdomen to look for any other abnormalities
Doctor :   the headache could be related to bloating too.
Doctor :   do you have belching, burping, flatulence assocaited?
User :   alot of painful flatulence
Doctor :   do you have chest discomfort, upper stomach discomfort, chest burning sensation associated?
User :   No chest discomfort.. I have a slow stomach so the upper stomach discomfort is normal
Doctor :   ok
Doctor :   3) take Tab Prilosec (OTC) 1 tablet two times a day
Doctor :   and see if your bloating and pain improves
User :   already do take the prilosec prescrib. strength
Doctor :   then if the symptoms are improving with Prilosec
Doctor :   then you would require and abdomen examination
Doctor :   along with an ultrasound scan to see what is going on
User :   what can I do for the pain?
Doctor :   the pancreatic enzymes along with LFT and HbA1C test would be required
Doctor :   for the pain the cause should be identified. if the bowels are involved, then antispasmodics will help
Doctor :   if any other visceral organ is involved then antispasmodics may not work
User :   I had thresh two weeks ago... can a person just have a complete body full of yeast infection
Doctor :   hence I recommended an examination
Doctor :   where did you have the Thrush?
