User:skin?.. no issues
User:i use olive oil since the past 3 months
Doctor:I think the first thing you need to do is take care of your diet
User:i know that, read it online
Doctor:As of now, there is no source of protein
User:that too i know
Doctor:So you'll have to take some protein in your lunch and breakfast
Doctor:Dal, chicken, beans,
Doctor:Whatever you prefer
Doctor:Paneer and tofu are other options
Doctor:You must not skip breakfast
Doctor:Plenty of XXXXXXX leafy vegetables like spinach
Doctor:Lots of fish
User:i feel quite full in the morning and see no need to have it
Doctor:They have lots of vitamin A
User:i know
Doctor:Take a glass of milk in the night if you feel hungry
Doctor:Or a glass of soya milk
Doctor:That has plenty of protein
User:apart from diet? what can i do
User:i have started shampooing on a regular basis and use a protein conditioner
User:last 6 months..can this be a source of hair thinning
Doctor:Not really
Doctor:Other than that, you will need to reduce the stress level
Doctor:Try meditation, pranayama and yoga

User:and how
Doctor:Taking care of the hair loss
User:normally i apply olive oil throught the day
User:and then shampoo and condition it
Doctor:Dont put it through the day
Doctor:Coconut oil is fine
User:so when should i apply for how long should i let it stay
Doctor:and that too 2-3 times a week
Doctor:Overnight, it shoiuld be applied
Doctor:Oil left on the hair during daytime attracts too much of dust
User:so what is to be done?
User:but i sit in a very clean environment
Doctor:What about the way to office?
Doctor:apply coconut oil overnight only for 3 days in a week
User:but that is a 25 minute journey in a XXXXXXX
Doctor:Its not required
Doctor:Mumbai already is quite humid
Doctor:Also, dont use any harsh chemicals
Doctor:strong shampoos
Doctor:Hair color
User:i use Head and Shoulders anti-dandruff, hopefully Mintop wont affect my hair
User:i haves topped using either of those
Doctor:Do you have dandruff?
User:Used to, but now due to regular shampooing it has gone down a lot, almost non-existent
User:but there is dandruff
Doctor:If you have it again, use arcolane 1% shampoo
Doctor:Dont use head and shoulders
Doctor:Its one of the worst and lot of peple
Doctor:say that it leads to weight loss
Doctor:hair loss
User:arcolane 1% shampoo??
User:is there a brand name?
Doctor:This is the brand name
Doctor:Drug name is ketoconazole
User:and i use a protein conditioner by himalaya
Doctor:Thats ok
User:so can i use use arcolane 1% shampoo and then the conditioner?
Doctor:Its only a coating agent
User:also should i use this shampoo regularly?
User:what is a coating agent?
Doctor:You can use it 2-3 times weekly
Doctor:It just forms a coat on your hair
Doctor:Also, dont put the conditioner on your scalp
User:the shampoo forms a coat on my hair, right?
Doctor:the conditioner
User:so i shampoo 3 times a week, then use the conditioner right?
Doctor:thats why the hair is so smooth after that
Doctor:If you put oil overnight and shampoo
Doctor:a hair conditioner is not necessary
Doctor:If the oil doesnt come off, use a mild shampoo like very little Dove shampoo
User:Thanks Dr XXXXXXX you have been a great help
Doctor:You're welcome
Doctor:Can I answer any other concern?
User:Really appreciate your advice.
User:yeah my weight
User:but thats upto me
Doctor:I'll tell you the basics
Doctor:Eat every 2 hours
Doctor:Something small
Doctor:DONT skip your breakfast
Doctor:DONT binge at night
Doctor:5-6 servings of fruits and vegetables
Doctor:dont eat rice at night
Doctor:No fried stuff
Doctor:No refined sugar, pastries, cakes and mithai
User:5-6 servings of fruits and vegetables; when?
Doctor:like 1 serving of fruit in the morning, mid-morning and evening
User:also i go to the gym @ 8 pm, so i need to have something during the 3-4pm slot
Doctor:2 serving of vegetables in lunch
User:what can i have then
Doctor:Have a fruit
Doctor:or sprouts
User:diet coke? or any other soda?
Doctor:Or a glass of soya milk
Doctor:I dont know if you have heard
Doctor:But the diet coke is not really coke
Doctor:It has plenty of calories
Doctor:and they get into litigation every year
User:i know that
Doctor:Just they hide it
User:some particular ingredient
User:and also the caffiene content
Doctor:and aerated drinks make you feel bloated and hungrier
User:what about nuts
Doctor:around 5-10, you can have in the evening
User:there is one more major issue
User:that i have
User:because of torsion
User:i have had one of my testes removed
User:and i have been asked to stop playing games and all
User:the problem is that this sometimes gets me thinking
User:the fact that i really only have one and i get stressed out thinking about
User:the future
User:i was coming to that
Doctor:it would be completely normal
User:not only fertility
User:but the very fear that if i lose one more
Doctor:You dont need to worry about that
Doctor:Torsion is an uncommon thing
User:but it happened to me
User:so its not so uncommon
Doctor:If you look at the overall statistics, its is uncommon
User:the doctor fixed the other testicle, as he has
User:done something to ensure it doesnt happen again
User:and frankly it just cannot happen again
User:as in i do not want it to happen
User:as mentally i have an image that that will be the end of everything
Doctor:A preventive surgery is available
User:i think the doctor has already done that
Doctor:the testis can be attached to the scrotum so that it cannot freely rotate
User:that is exactly what he has done
Doctor:Then the chances are reduced even further
User:but there is a chance that it can happen
Doctor:You needn't worry about it
Doctor:that way, anything can happen
User:1 testis, let me ask you something
Doctor:Indians are amongst the most predisposed to heart disease and stroke
Doctor:anybody can have a heart attack or stroke anytime
Doctor:do we worry about it?
User:what happens if i lose the one that i have?
Doctor:The fertility levels will be affected definitely
Doctor:And supplemental testosterone would be required But as far as your libido is concerned
User:but will i still continue to have sexual desires??
Doctor:With the testosterone yes
User:and the abililty to have sex
Doctor:The sperms are formed in the testis
Doctor:In the absence of the required cells, sperms cant be made
User:will it affect my energy levels and my masculinity?
Doctor:But testosterone can take care of everything else
User:i understand that
Doctor:Testosterone will take care of that too
User:but no testosterone no desire?
User:is that hormone produced in the testis too?
Doctor:you will receive testosterone supplements
User:Thanks for clarifying that
User:just to know
User:if i freeze my sperms now
User:can ivf help me?
User:in the event that something happens that is?
User:so if i lose my other testis (however improbable that maybe)
User:my desire to have sex and ability remains?
Doctor:You can get them frozen
Doctor:You will receive testosterone supplements after thar
Doctor:Which will take care of that
User:I am sorry to ask you all this, but i was 16 years old when this happened
User:and i dont remember what the doctor said then
Doctor:Its fine
Doctor:I understand
User:besides, this has always bothered me
User:Thanks for understanding
Doctor:are you comfortable now?
User:feeling much better
Doctor:More concerns?
User:and with one testis there is no reduction in mobility and production of sperms?
Doctor:The sperms that are produced are normal
User:thanks for allaying my fears
User:however i will still do a fertility test before marriage
User:better not to be in the dark
Doctor:a semen analysis is the name of the test
User:Thanks Ms XXXXXXX i will make a note of this conversation, for future reference
User:is there i can ensure that next time you will be online if i need to chat
Doctor:You can simply ask for me
Doctor:Just say, I want to speak with Dr. XXXXXXX
User:ok will do thanks
Doctor:More concerns?
User:you have been great
User:i will end this chat now
