User :   hello
User :   My age is 37. I had viral hepatitis leading to Jaundic in the month of September 2008. The total bilirubin had gone up to 7.8 mgms%. My SGPT was 2316 unit/lt;SGOT was 156.20; Alkaline Phosphate 336 ; GGT 270.30. Now I have recovered from Jaundice and my current Total bilirubin is 0.50 mg/dl but my SGPT is 64.30 U/L; SGOT is 41.00 U/L; Alkaline Phosphate is 130.60 UL and GGT is 123.30 UL. I would like to know that why all the function of liver are still abnormal. Has my liver got damaged. As a background this is the first time in my life I had jaundice. I was a regular drinker for almost 4 years but I have stopped taking liquor for last 2 years. Has my drinking habit 2 years back damaged my liver? What should I do now? Kindly Suggest.
