User :   Hi ,
i was wonting to no why for the last three year's i have been feeling so lightheadedness / off balance .
it is at the point that im feel like in going bananna's . the doc have did
blood work and nothing . It is like we cant find the problem what do i do now .
Im dont no were to turn at this point all i get from the doc is it is just anxiety but some time i feel im just about to black out but dont
and the off balance is killing me after this long every day all
day even when im in bed it feel like im swaing like a tree would do

User :   i have been feeling this way d for over 3 year and just dont no what to check next . and the lightheadedness /affbalance is bad like i have to stay walking kust to keep from falling over

User :   no more a lightheadedness

User :   yes and allis good and fine

User :   i would say in the morning and right at bed time but bad all day from the time i get up to the time i go to bed
User :   if i sit down i need to lean on something just to feel right

Doctor :   have you been evaluated for orhtostatic hypotension ?
User :   what is that ??
Doctor :   this is a condition where in the Bp falls with change in position
Doctor :   from sitting to standing position resulting in the symptoms that you have mentioned
User :   i have did a rilt test

User :   and yes i have had that done and all good

User :   about six mouth ago
User :   and the zanax that i take has beel the same for the passed years never took more or less

Doctor :   in case all tests have shown that you dont have orthostatic hypotension, then ..
Doctor :   the remaining posisiblilty is that of labyrinthitis, benign positional vertigo or any other pathology of the inner ear
User :   i have had a mri and a ct scan and it came back normel

User :   and the iner ear as well

Doctor :   in that case you have benign positional vertigo
Doctor :   and the treatment is medicines like meclicine and hyocine
Doctor :   this condition is a benign condition, that results due to hypersensitivity of the inner ear canal cells
Doctor :   and results in symptoms that you have mentioned
User :   ok so what should i ask my doc to check for and treat me for ??
Doctor :   you can go to the local pharmacy, and there you can get some OTC medications as well
Doctor :   Eg Dramamine
User :   and have long will it take to start working .
User :   i will go get it right now
Doctor :   you can take it as long as you have the symptoms

User :   and what kind of med is it ??
Doctor :   in addition , procedure called "Epley's maneuver," a form of neck exercise will also help
Doctor :   this is a antihistamine like medication
User :   i do feel my neck is stifff all the time as well
Doctor :   The procedure is as follows: Doctor :   Sit upright.
Doctor :   Turn your head to the symptomatic side at a 45 degree angle, and lie on your back.
Doctor :   Remain up to 5 minutes in this position
Doctor :   Turn your head 90 degrees to the other side.
Doctor :   Remain up to 5 minutes in this position.
Doctor :   Roll your body onto your side in the direction you are facing; now you are pointing your head nose down.
Doctor :   Remain up to 5 minutes in this position.
Doctor :   Go back to the sitting position and remain up to 30 seconds in this position.
Doctor :   The entire procedure should be repeated two more times, for a total of three times.

Doctor :   this exercise will help you control of your symptoms and has been found to be much effective
User :   and this is for the stiff neck or the lightheadedness or both

User :   and if i dont feel better should i take the staroids that the ent wont me to take
Doctor :   no need for steriod medications in your case
