User :   hello dr.i am a student studying medicine internationally and i have an embarrasing problem
User :   it has caused me to skip half a weeks worth of school as of now
User :   i believe i have leaky gut syndrome, and i dont smell too good no matter how good i shower

User :   Leaky gut syndrome is a proposed condition of an altered or damaged bowel lining. The term is used by some alternative medicine practitioners, but the syndrome is not a recognized diagnosis.[1] It is hypothesized to be caused by increased permeability of the gut wall resulting from toxins, poor diet, parasites, infection, or medications.

User :   a lot of burping and diarrahea and constipation

User :   no1 has ever really told me, i put the pieces together and found out myself

User :   what foods do u think help clean out the colon, besides drinking plenty of water
Doctor :   food with lot of fibre, like cereals, green leafy vegetables, fruits, nuts, dry fruits.
Doctor :   make it a point to always have good fibre intake when ever you have a meal.
User :   would multivitamins help
Doctor :   they will help to keep you gut healthy to an extent but natural food is recommended.
User :   such as raw fruits and vegetables ?
Doctor :   yes.
