User :   hello sir!!!! i am pregnant and having last mnth of pregnancy. i have done the bile acid test where the bile acid range has come to 42.9 micro mol/l . pls let me knw the possible cause and remedy i am very much worried, the sgpt(alt)(ifcc) is also abnormally high to the rangeof 372 iu/l

Doctor :   Since you dont have any major symptoms, other than itching, you dont have to be worried at all
Doctor :   use icepacks and anti itching creams to relieve your symptoms
Doctor :   since all signs are normal, there is no need to panic
User :   i have taken antibiotics due to throat infection. i have taken amoxycyllin, is thers any side effect .
Doctor :   elevated enzymes without any symptoms are not significant
Doctor :   it could be a sign of liver involvement , due to the same infection
Doctor :   but not a form of side effect of amoxycillin
User :   i am also taking one more medicine named cepodem 200 for throat infection now...

User :   but i am reading on internet that it could cause ICP which is dangerous for baby also

User :   Intrahepatic Cholestasis of Pregnancy
Doctor :   this condition does not develop in late pregnancy
User :   i was bit worried by reading tht extract
Doctor :   this is seen in early stages and is associated with severe symptoms and severe hepatic damage
Doctor :   which is not the case, with you
Doctor :   as there are no symptoms of liver damage in you
User :   what precaution shall i take in future to reduce the liver damage
User :   i am feeling some time in digestion only
Doctor :   just monitor for symptoms that i mentioned, including nausea, vomiting, severe Abdominal pain, reduced appetites etc
Doctor :   some indigestion is common in late pregnancy due to the enlarged uterus compresing on the intestines and the stomach
