User :   itchy torso, aggravated by shower or sweat, raw nipples, right breast significant droop

User :   yes 43 years old

Doctor :   how long have you got these symptoms from ?
User :   little over 3 months
Doctor :   is there any lumpiness in the breast, any discharge from the nipples ?
User :   symptoms have become worse and took the time to rule out allergies
User :   some slight lumpiness not remarkable no discharge
Doctor :   have you had nausea, abdominal pain, jaundice , loss of appetite, ?
User :   some occasional nausea, no abdominal pain jaundice or loss of appetite

User :   increase of appetite as of last month or so and some weight gain
Doctor :   have you had any blood tests lately ?
User :   yes
Doctor :   can u mention the results please ?
User :   c-reactive protein metobolic profile and cbc all normal
Doctor :   any Liver function tests done ?
User :   yes
User :   liver profile also normal

User :   slight elevation nothing remarkable
Doctor :   have you done your Mammogram any time after age 40 yrs ?
Doctor :   slight elevation of what ?
User :   she didn't say what the slight elevation was but said that dr didn't find the elevation a problem

User :   no mamo as of yet
User :   having difficulty getting into see dr with my change of insurance
Doctor :   do u have any visual problems ?
Doctor :   any weakness of the body, limbs, etc ?
User :   very dry eyes and some vision changes with blurry tv

User :   no problems with walking
Doctor :   have you had your eyes checked out ?
User :   body weakness feel as if I have the flu
Doctor :   a slit lamp opthalmoscopy, specifically ?
User :   eyes have not been examined in last 6 months
User :   no
Doctor :   were they normal before ?
User :   yes i do wear glasses for reading, chilasion removal and eye drops for dry eye
User :   i've noticed some white weeping from left eye in the last few weeks
Doctor :   a few conditions which might be associated with your symptoms could be multiple sclerosis
User :   forms on the outside of corner of eyelid
Doctor :   MS presents with body weakness, vision problems and abnormal sensation while taking bath
Doctor :   and optic neuritis with causes visual issues - are the first symptoms that appear in MS
User :   the sensation is restricted to torso which is excrutiating itching on breasts, rib cage area on both sides and hips

Doctor :   do u have any redness under the breasts ?
User :   not now but i do recall an episode of redness under breasts last summer

User :   resolved with anti itch cream
Doctor :   in that case, this is atopic dermatitis ,
Doctor :   and is a benign cause
Doctor :   and nothing to worry about

Doctor :   you can help the symptoms by using antihistamines like zyrtec
Doctor :   and anti itch creams like hydrocortisone
User :   have tried zyrtec and hydrocotrisone and corticosteroid with no relief
Doctor :   if there is any redness, this is due to moisture induced dermatitis and is sweat induced
Doctor :   you need to use good anti perspirants , and body talc containing zinc oxide
User :   only red after shower then it appears to have what looks like bruising under the skin
User :   then it gets very dry once it settles down
Doctor :   how long does the redness last ?
User :   about 30 minutes

Doctor :   have you been given oral prednisone ?
User :   no rash present but the itching is so bad it causes me to go into almost a panic state
User :   no oral prednisone

Doctor :   since the symptoms are severe a course of oral prednisone will be helpful
User :   also the droop of the right breast is concerning also rough patch on ariola of that breast as well
Doctor :   that could be due to sweat induced seborrhiec dermatitis
User :   my pcp seemed embarrassed to address these issues and has referred me to a dermatologist

User :   pcp yes, dermatologist no
Doctor :   ok
User :   the recommended dermatologist i do not care for and currently seeking alternate practice

Doctor :   when are yoiu due to see him ?
Doctor :   any time soon ?
User :   no appointment set yet. waiting for insurance to approve.

User :   is it your opinion that a dermatologist is the correct next step
Doctor :   once he sees you, he can give you specific treatment
Doctor :   yes thats the right step

User :   it could be a week or more before appointment any thoughts to get me through to that time
Doctor :   In the mean time, apply some ice packs to reduce the symptoms
Doctor :   it will sooth the skin and reduce the itch
User :   ok
Doctor :   the other condition that cause such issues is insect bites , which also increase with taking a shower
User :   i believe our time is about to expire
Doctor :   so its best to rule that out too
User :   no one else in the home affected
Doctor :   in that case, no need to worry
User :   no insects present to the eye or bites on skin
Doctor :   that is fine
User :   ok
User :   well i thank you for your time. and advice i will be aggressive with insurance to get appt with dermatologist
