User :   and when they finish after 15 days i get them back normal periods for 7 days
User :   im not taking any pills
Doctor :   so prior to this, were your periods normal?
User :   during that 10-12 days the periods were not normal, there were spotting , but sometimes in low quanity
User :   the color during that time was black, pink or red
Doctor :   are you trying to concieve ?
User :   the color was sometimes black, pink, sometimes red
User :   yes
Doctor :   ok
User :   we are trying to conceive from more than 1 year
Doctor :   have you done any ultrasound pelvis or any blood tests for LH, FSH, etc ?
User :   i have done ultra sound last time in 2008
User :   everything was normal
Doctor :   ok
User :   but after 2008 we didnt take ultra sound
Doctor :   so since how long have you had irregular periods ?
User :   but last year i did my blood test.. and it was normal
Doctor :   what tests were done ?
User :   hormones test
User :   only from last month i am facing irregular periods
User :   i am worried too much, is there any serious problem
Doctor :   so FSH, LH tsh were all normal?
User :   i dnt know about the names of the reports
Doctor :   have u done the semen analysis of your husband , to check the motility ?
User :   but dr hre said all normal but it was before 1 year
Doctor :   ok
User :   yes he have done semen analysis and he is facing problem in sperm motility
User :   its 35-40% motile
Doctor :   in that case, i think that you may need help in achieving conception via IVF
Doctor :   IF all the hormones and your USG is normal , then i dont think there is any problem with u
User :   he is taking SPEMAN & PHARMATON
User :   i am worried about my irregular periods...
Doctor :   also, in order to know what exactly is going on with you since the last one month, u should be examined and evaluated by a repeat USG
Doctor :   TO CHECK IF U HAVE HAD FIBROIDS OR endometrial hyperplasia or any other issues
Doctor :   also to regularise your periods, you may need medicines
Doctor :   i would like to tell you that this is a short term issue and can be solved easily with medicines to regularise your periods
User :   i heard that unusual period also cause of pregnancy
User :   is it true?
Doctor :   once the periods are regular, then, you can take medicines, to increase the no of eggs produced and then try to achieve pregnancy
Doctor :   yes , u are right , irregular periods are associated with not having pregnancy
Doctor :   have u understood my advice ?
Doctor :   Are u there ?
User :   yes
User :   im here
Doctor :   ok
User :   u mean that irregualr periods does not mean that i am pregnant?
Doctor :   so, the way to go forward is to consult a gynae, to get a physical examination done, so that the exact cause can be determined
Doctor :   irregular periods - mean - no possibility of pregnancy
User :   ok .. so what medicine do u recommend
Doctor :   then, once periods become normal, you can try to achieve pregnancy
User :   this is the first time happend to me, thats y i am worried
Doctor :   there is no need to worry
Doctor :   most women, do have such episodes of irregular periods, and this is a very common issue
Doctor :   everything will be all right
User :   doctor
User :   yesterday my normal periods were over and we had intercourse
User :   but after intercourse i found the spotting again
User :   what is the cause of that
Doctor :   this could be due to some remaining blood in the uterus, coming out, as a result of intercourse
Doctor :   also since you had a period ending at the same time there is no need to worry about the spotting
User :   so shall we continue intercouse or stop until we do physical examination
Doctor :   you can continue to have intercourse
Doctor :   if it recurrs again, then please see a doctor, to know whether it is due t internal injury or a continuation of your period
Doctor :   i hope u have understood my advice
User :   i understood ur advice
User :   we are confused that what to do.. shall we continue or not.. coz spotting are seen after intercourse sometimes
User :   and whenever we had an intercourse i feel pain below abdoman
Doctor :   then i guess, the only thing that needs to be done is a physical examination by a gynaecologist
Doctor :   to see whether there is any internl injury
Doctor :   once that is known the further action can be decided
User :   and what do u say about the pain
Doctor :   the pain could be due to that internal injury or vaginal tear occured during intercourse
User :   what is vaginal tear
Doctor :   this needs to be checked by physcal examintion itself
Doctor :   its a injury of your vagina that occurs during ex
Doctor :   sex
User :   so u only recommend to go for physical examination
Doctor :   kindly get an appointment and get it examined
Doctor :   yes i strongly vice that in your case
User :   what about my husband motility.. he is taking SPEMAN and PHARMATON from more than 1 and half year
Doctor :   so that the exact cause can be found out\
User :   do u recommend any other medicine for him
Doctor :   i cant prescribe any medications as its a online consultation
User :   ok any special food which increase motility in sperm
Doctor :   green vegetables and fresh fruit diet
