User :   when necessary
Doctor :   yes
Doctor :   i was just doing that here
User :   Gr8
Doctor :   Hello,
Doctor :   Please proceed with your query
User :   Thanks
User :   Doctor ordered a level 2 Ultra sound or ECHO....She says heartbeat is strong but one side of flow is weak or slow....What is this a sign of?
Doctor :   The ultrasound checks for the overall function of your heart which is composed of 4 chambers.
Doctor :   Your doctor is likely referring to the function of one of your ventricles
Doctor :   thethe right ventricle pumps blood into the lung for oxygenation while the left pups blood into the rest of the body so we can function.
User :   Do you think we have to worry with this comment by the doctor?
Doctor :   Your doctor may have discovered that one of the ventricles is not pumping optimally.
Doctor :   This may be of concern but we would need some detail about how limited the flow is.
Doctor :   Certain conditions may affect flow
User :   Can it this happen with strong beat with weak flow
Doctor :   such as hypertension
Doctor :   Yes, this can happen if one of the valves of the heart is not allowing adequate flow.
User :   Yes I am here to provide the details that you want
Doctor :   We term this as "stenosis" or sometimes regurgitation.
Doctor :   While the muscle is strong, the flow may be limited if the valves are not allowing good movement of blood.
Doctor :   Did your doctor comment on your heart valves?
User :   ok do you think we have worry with weak flow
Doctor :   It is something I would not dismiss
User :   OmG??
User :   I am worried about my wife
Doctor :   This does not sound like an emergent condition, but I would like to have more detail about what the ultrasound showed.
User :   She did the first level scan and the doctor said this
Doctor :   Does she have any symptoms?
User :   No this is a normal ultrasound during her pregnancy
Doctor :   Why was the scan ordered?
User :   Routine
Doctor :   I see. the ultrasound was of your wife's heart correct?
User :   yes
User :   Is there anything my wife can do to help? Is it okay for her to still exercise? Her blood pressure is running 135/78. Would that cause more of an issue?
Doctor :   How far along in pregnancy is she?
User :   18 weeks
Doctor :   I understand you are very concerned
Doctor :   Let me try to work with you so you can better understand what is going on
Doctor :
This could represent a functional variation in her heart function related to her pregnancy and not necessarily a worrisome finding.
User :   That comes a relief
User :   What do you expect if it is not normal function
Doctor :   I would expect her doctor will check an interval scan in the future to reassess her cardiac function
User :   yeah he was mentioning that
Doctor :   Pregnancy can cause changes in cardiac function related to the circulation of the mother and the baby
Doctor :   She should continue regular prenatal visits
User :   Ok, I take your word
User :   Thank you for being there for me
Doctor :   You are very welcome
Doctor :   Are there any opther concerns at this time?
User :   that is all
User :   Thanks again
User :   Bye for now
Doctor :   You are welcome
Doctor :   goodbye.
Doctor :   Hello I am Dr. Galamaga
Doctor :   Please proceed with your query
User :   I noticed a few red bumps on my scrotum sack and am trying to understand what they are. They are around hair follicles it seems. I shave in my genital area but am wondering what your thoughts are. There is no issue on my penis just on the scrotum sack on my right side.
Doctor :   I understand.
Doctor :   Is this the first time you have noticed this change in your skin?
User :   yes
Doctor :   How long have you been shaving this area? Just recently or for months or years until now?
User :   Few months, not many times
Doctor :   Are the bumps tender? Do they itch?
User :   Let me tell you my father has diabetes
User :   They are not
Doctor :   I see.
Doctor :   It sounds quite likely that these red bumps you have may be related to what we refer to as "folliculitis"
User :   shaving bumps?
Doctor :   this can happen when the hair follicles become inflammed
User :   Are they different?
Doctor :   it is possible it could be related to the shaving yes
User :   what should I do?
User :   Let me tell you have unprotected sex
Doctor :   For this kind of thing I would keep the area clean as possible, warm soaks and observe for improvement.
Doctor :   Have you had any new partners in the last few months?
User :   no
Doctor :   or are you in a monogamous relationship?
Doctor :   Does your partner have any symptoms?
User :   not that i know
User :   I have single girl
Doctor :   I see.
Doctor :   Have some of these bumps resolved or are they getting worse?
User :   I havent noticed any improvement
User :   Do you think I shave it ?
Doctor :   With the shaving, the base of the hair follicle can become inflammed and is sometimes prone to develop a bit of infection from bacteria that reside on the skin
User :   Can you suggest any cream for application?
Doctor :   In addition to warm soaks in a bathtub you might try a topical antibiotic cream
User :   Any particular name?
Doctor :   this may provide some relief. Something like bacitracin cream or ointment
User :   Is it Over the counter?
Doctor :   You may obtain this over the counter yes.
User :   Oh great
User :   Thanks
User :   Bye
