User :   I have a lump in my upper right arm that appeared out of nowhere yesterday. It is red, warm to the touch, and is somewhat painful. I see nothing that would idicate a spider bite. Any ideas?

User :   No, I feel ok other than the pain in the upper arm. It's about 2 in in diameter and red. Back of arm is swollen.

User :   1)Apply an ice pack or cold, wet washcloth to the skin.
User :   2) Mix 3 parts baking soda with 1 part water to create a paste to speed up the healing process

User :   like neosporin ?
User :   well you can get that from your local pharmacy and apply

User :   also i will suggest that you also take benedryl

User :   since you dont have any serious symptoms it will go away
