User :   she never takes thise pills
User :   infact her pregnancy now is after 10 years
Doctor :   ok you see there is a condition that is called as Metrorrhagia
User :   my first daughter was both after 2 years of marriage
User :   and doc says thyroid delays pregnency so we never used contraseptives
Doctor :   Metrorrhagia is the term used to describe bleeding between periods, or bleeding unrelated to the menstrual period.
Doctor :   Metrorrhagia can be caused by a hormonal imbalance
User :   yes
User :   she had that 2 years
User :   back
User :   you are right
Doctor :   Thyroid medications are hormonal and can cause certain hormonal imbalances
User :   at that time she had to take ferosac injection
User :   bec too much bleeding caused anamic
Doctor :   so for that your doctor has prescribed Dicynone
User :   but doctor 8 months passed after delivery and she did not have bleeding or periods
User :   wht all of sudden?
User :   my wife is asking me, taking this medicin wont delay her XXXXXXXX priods too?
Doctor :   Female hormonal imbalances take months and sometime years to be normal
Doctor :   No you can tell her that there is nothing to worry about
Doctor :   your doctor is giving the right correct protocol of medications
Doctor :   May i kone your wife age please ?
Doctor :   know**
User :   she is 34
Doctor :   Dicynone is also given when there root cause if condition is not known
Doctor :   there is no harm
Doctor :   Infact it is the right drug for non schedule bleeding
User :   in that case should we reduice taking thyroxin to even 50 mg
User :   ionstead of 75?
Doctor :   No please don't change the dosage your self unless the latest lab test indicates so. Its not advisable
User :   ok
User :   many thanks
User :   can i ask 2 more questions
Doctor :   For any change in dose the most recent lab tests are to be considered and then under medical supervision only the dose can be altered
Doctor :   sure please do ask
User :   wife feels pain
User :   in ther legs
User :   and now itsuric acid
User :   but she does not take red meat
User :   or similar
User :   so why?
User :   and how to prevent?
User :   i mean she is not taking i think... any food that produce more uric acid?
Doctor :   yes she has to limit her intake of pulses
Doctor :   and any food thats rich in proteins
Doctor :   Avoid foods such as meat, fish, eggs, tea, coffee, and white flour and its products
Doctor :   2) Avoid canned food, processed food and fried food.
Doctor :   3) A well balanced diet with emphasis on fresh fruits, vegetables and sprouts.
Doctor :   4) Vegetable juices can protect against gout. Carrot juice with beetroot juice and cucumber juice is valuable in increased uric acid level.
