User : I just had hernia surgery on my stomach a week ago today and everything I taste that isn't sweet (i.e. fruit or pudding) tastes like pure table salt. I have been running a low grade fever and also have a good size fever blister on the outside of my lip. I have also felt as though my gums and tongue are as though I have eaten too much acid. I haven't been able to eat much of anything.

User : no discharge. i have had some nausea but it has been more of when I was taking the percocet, of which i have not had since sunday. i dont like the way it makes me feel

Doctor : It is either a viral or a bacterial infection.
Doctor : Temperature higher than 100 degree with chills and shivering can be an indication of wound infection which needs antibiotics.
