User :   I am unable to concentrate on any one thing for extended periods of time and I never finish projects.

User :   Yes. At work, I can't concentrate on things like i should
Doctor :   Do you have any other symptoms such as easy fatiguability, generalised weakness, speech disturbances?
User :   very tired a lot of the time. I fall asleep driving sometimes.
Doctor :   Do you get good sleep at night?
Doctor :   There may be multiple causes for your inability in concentration.
User :   yes, i sleep an average of 7 to 9 hours
Doctor :   Do you have any other medical illness?
User :   no. None that I know of

User :   I haven't had the extra time or money to see a doctor over the years for anything other than flu

Doctor :   As suggested there are different causes inability to concentrate.
Doctor :   Most often they are related to physiological causes, secondary to stress, impaired sleeping habits, poor nutritional state and so on.
Doctor :   Rarely they are due to medical causes such as anaemia, hormonal disturbances and so on.
Doctor :   Since you report that your symptoms have been for a while you would need evaluation to know the specific cause.
