Doctor :   ok

User :   Not really, she says it makes her feel physically ill
Doctor :   any symptoms like fever, nausea, abdominal pain or lethargy ?
User :   It's been a 24 hour period
User :   yes all of them
Doctor :   is she still throwing up?
User :   she had a fever last night and sweated hard in bed

Doctor :   Is she having any cough, difficulty to breath?
Doctor :   i understand,
User :   no difficulty breathing and she just had her first bowl of soup
Doctor :   presence of fever, can cause a person to develop nausea & vomiting
Doctor :   is she taking any medicines for fever? or for her influenza (any antibiotics prescribed by your doctor)
User :   She has previously been diagnosed with IBS but not full symptoms
Doctor :   ok
User :   no antibiotics, he told us aspro clear
Doctor :   ok
User :   i fear for her lining of the stomach, can it be damaged like this??
Doctor :   with the subsidence of fever, and reduction of symptoms within the next 2 -3 days, she will definitely feel better.
User :   She has had 6 paracetamol and 2 aspro clears in 22 hours
User :   should i force her to eat and drink more?
Doctor :   In the mean time, Please take only tylenol thrice daily (not more than 4 tabs daily)
User :   panedol?? Not aspro-clear? I thought asprin would make the stomach worse and the headache better
Doctor :   if possible get her sme pepcid or mylanta (available in the CVS pharmacy)
Doctor :   tylenol is acetaminophen - does not affect the stomach much
User :   whats the active ingredient of that?
User :   she is allergic to codeine
Doctor :   in addition, let her take some Zinetac
Doctor :   tylenol plain ( is codiene free)
Doctor :   she can take that for high fever
Doctor :   also cold compresses, and plenty of oral hydration will help
Doctor :   to prevent vomiting, she must be given some prilosec OR zinetac, which will reduce the gastric acidity
