User:Last question, why the TSH will increase in first trimester she has TSH=3.5 now it is 7.5,and she was continiosly taking medicine for that (thyronorm12.5)
Doctor:because the demand will increase as the pregnancy progresses
Doctor:both mother and the baby would require more thyroid hormone

Doctor:both of them require optimum amount of thyroid hormone
User:Ok Dr,finally is this worrism matter, what is the upperlimit of TSH during pregnancy
Doctor:it is not worrisome if medicines are taken correctly

Doctor:next 3 months 4
Doctor:and last month is 4.5
Doctor:do you have any more queries?
User:Ok,by taking medicines continuously will reduce the numbers? why I am asking this is she is taking medicine right from the first trimester but still she got such a high value of 7,5,thats bit worrying,do we need to have any additional test
Doctor:no additional tests are required
Doctor:she has to take medicine continually, then the TSH will be normal
Doctor:Please note that a value of 7.5 is not high
Doctor:some people have more than 15 to 20
User:Ok Thanks
Doctor:7.5 is still ok
Doctor:thank you too
User:ohh ok
Doctor:please ask me any more queries that you may have
User:At this point that's it ,will like to contact soon.
